I have stayed at Harrison's a number of times with both family and friends. Tim, the host and owner, is an amazing person, able to cook incredible meals and already ready to share a story or a tune. My only regret is that I have not been able to make it to Harrison's every year. I will plan to in 2026. Hope to see you there. read more

Harrison's is a National Treasure! It's amazing to be able to come to places like Harrison's that are completely unchanged for almost 100 years. The food is exceptional and you won't find a better meal anywhere. Tim is a wonderful person who works so hard to give everyone who comes through a tremendous experience. I've been going to Harrison's for 35 years and every year the experience delights me in new ways. Thank you and keep up the great work! You are a small piece of Heaven in the Northern Maine Woods! read more

If you enjoy the outdoors and a nice relaxing time where you are completely separated from the world, this is for you. There's 9 beautiful log cabins with running water in them. The best part to me was there was no cell phone service. I went for a long weekend and it made it nice and serene. Extremely enjoyable. We hiked a little, took out a boat on a water on a beautiful day and also ate like we never could imagine. The owner and a sweet man and his cooking is like something you could never find in a restaurant. Make sure to burn up some calories for room because they are large portions. Perfect long weekend vacation. Make sure to use the directions from the website they are better than a GPS! read more

I have stopped by there many years ago while hiking on the Appalachian Trail. At the time We stayed in the A.T. lean-to not far away but I got a look at the place and thought it was very picturesque. I don't live in Maine anymore but was thinking of family time at a classic camp such as this so I contacted them. In the course of getting more information, one email dropped the phrase "no masks allowed," which picqued my curiosity. Over the course of the past few years, I have learned that Trump supporters are not good people. I can understand the culture of hunting in Maine, after all I owned 80 acres of prime territory (with a deer yard on the property) and never posted it. But the little comment led me to ask if there were going to be Trump signs around. The owner answered "yes." So I will be going elsewhere with my money, and I think it is important to alert other unsuspecting visitors as to what to expect. You won't get a relaxing time at this place. It's been around for a hundred years and I am pretty sure that for the first 96 they were not in support of armed insurrection at Our Nation's Capitol. read more

The owner of this place is a wack job. Hopefully you don't run in to him during one of his unstable moments because he may scream at you like a lunatic and tell you he was a Marine and how he can kick your butt. Aside from that the place looks like it's going to fall apart at any moment and I am sure it's riddled with mice. Amazes me the state doesn't shut them down. read more
