I recommend you leave your "big city" expectations at the door, and go have a beer with friends and play a game of pool. Sometimes life doesn't need to be any more complicated than that.

True Maine hospitality. They are the new owners, and they are doing it right. The cabins are simple and very clean. With all the nesessities for cooking, and a HOT shower. Also the screened in porch is overlooking the pond.. Stunning. They are located on the pond with a private deck for relaxing, reading, swimming. You can rent a canoe or kayak and paddle away. Its very quiet and serene. You might even come across some loons.
