I think the watches are very sophisticated and high end but also original and just a little bit different than any other watch and the prices are also rather good value, between £85 and £140. Of course, living in Camden, the Camden logo on the watch is a nice detail for a little local pride. I really like the watches, the designs but also the personality behind the company, the people and the watches inspired by dynamic Camden. I bought one watch (No 29) for myself and one (No.27) as a great present to a loved one. They cater for both sexes, have some bigger (for males I think) models, some smaller (bit more female), and some in between size (for both I would say).

My ring was ordered online and delivery took significantly longer than the timeframe stated in Graff's own terms and conditions. I received no order confirmation, order number, delivery confirmation, or invoice, and I had to intervene personally to resolve courier issues. When the ring arrived, it was not wearable for me in practice and ultimately had to be returned. The return process itself was problematic, involving further delays and missed collection. While the purchase price has since been refunded, this came only after a protracted and frustrating process And took 5 working days plus a weekend. What was most disappointing was not a single issue in isolation, but the cumulative experience and the tone of the subsequent correspondence, which felt cold and impersonal and did not acknowledge the inconvenience caused. For a luxury house of this standing, I expected far greater attention to detail, communication, and client care. Regrettably, this experience has significantly undermined my confidence in purchasing from Graff again.

Until one Monday afternoon my wife and I walked past the Wempe Boutique on Bond Street and just for a laugh, thought we'd take our chances and asked a question that usually elicits nothing from the person behind the counter but a smile or sarcastic remark. Except today we got a 'Let me see...' and with that, my hopes up. Then this smiling german man walks in our direction with a white face stainless, on a felt tray, a day from the factory and tells me (with a smirk on his face) that they cannot sell for more than Rolex MSRP, and that with my passport, I will also get 20% VAT back on it when I fly home to the US. My credit card practically bounced off the counter. From fitting my wrist to explaining service, even automatically calculating and filing my VAT refund in advance - the service, style and overall experience we had at Wempe was just what you expect from a legendary jeweler on Old Bond Street in Mayfair. They also seem to get strong Rolex allocation, so if you are looking for a rare or hard to find new Rolex model, this should be a good place to start. Danke.

I used my trusty app to locate a watch repair shop near by and wondered down. I was however very aware of the fact that I was in Chelsea and heading to quite a suave Watch shop who did repairs, not repair shop that did watches. We arrived and I knocked on the door - a gentlemen came over and unlocked the door and I explained why I was there. The gentleman invited me in and asked what watch it was and I told him, Michael Kors. He replied - 'Ah, usually we wouldn't but I used to work for them so go on then...' He measured my wrist and headed downstairs. Within 5 minutes he had taken out the links and my watch fitted beautifully. I asked 'how much?' and he said no charge - no charge, in Chelsea! Winning! And off I went! Great customer service, polite and welcoming gentleman and my beautiful watch now sits perfectly on my list! HAPPY.

The beads are beautiful quality and incredibly reasonably priced, in many cases much cheaper than if you were to buy the identical piece ready made. As well as designing and making jewellery, Von and Magnus can also restring, redesign and replace fastenings on existing items of jewellery.
