Don't forget the copay that's MANDATORY for this as they bill your Insurance Company like you're actually seeing the actual surgeon!! What a JOKE!! Been on several different sites and discovered that this location is not the best of them. Stay away from the St Clair County Practice. As for me... I'm not going to see another surgeon in the near future until I gain some trust in another surgeon

That is only half true, they only take the Delta Premiere and not my Delta PPO. After my post-op visit, I stopped at the desk to see what my balance was going to be and was surprised that it was 30% more than I expected. The girl at check-out acted surprised but I think they knew this. When I spoke to the manager/biller, she said she was sorry that I didn't understand?? I guess that's true, I misunderstood what they lead me to believe. I think most offices know what insurance they don't participate with. I don't think they want their patients to be stuck with unexpected bills.

I was referred to Dr. Walsh by my local MD for ankle issues. I normally look at reviews before…read moregoing to a new doctor especially a small town specialist, there are only a few reviews out there and most are poor but I decided to give her a shot anyways. She started out and I'll be honest I really liked her, but as my issue continued I had to be put into a cast and that caused me to be removed from work which was fine and she handled it well. My issue came when when she referred me to Dr. Zingas in Grosse Point and my sickness and accident policy was running out of time. Dr. Zingas wanted me to stay out of work but it was going to take his office 14 days to complete the paperwork and I only had 5 days left. But long story short I decided to return to work before I lost my job, Dr Walsh said she was ok with that but wanted a letter from Zingas as well. I got a letter from him and called her office, her husband runs the front desk he turned to tell her while placing his hand over the phone and she proceeded to tell him that I'm not her f****** problem any more and they hung up on me. She felt that once she transferred me I was done with her but all my work wanted was a simple paragraph from the person that took me out of work in the first place. I had to threaten to get a lawyer to get a letter from her. To sum this up my doctor off has stopped referring to her and I went to Great Lakes Foot and Ankle and couldn't be happier I hope you heed my advice to save a lot of headaches.
