So we wanted someone to photograph us in some candid moments down on the beach with the kids. So she hung out and really captured some great moments of all us having a great time as a family. Usually there's someone always left out of the photo, so this was a great way to really save the moments with all of us. She captured the kids doing some things that we didn't even know happened, until we saw the photos. Our total cost was around $275, a reduced military rate I believe (with 25% down to get on his schedule). High school graduation is a big event in ones life and we are hosting a big party to celebrate after the ceremony. Went to have the cake made with the photo to be printed on the cake and the baker said I will need a release from Kay Brown. I said that won't be a problem since we paid nearly 200.00 for a package. I placed a call to Kay Brown photography and was rudely told since I didn't purchase the package with the disc that they were not going to release the photo for a cake. I told them that this is going to be on a cake and would be eaten and never seen again. they basically said they could care less and would not release the photo. After a consultation with a professional photographer I was told they could have easily done a one time release for the cake. LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY NEEDS. She was there taking the pictures and I got talking with her and she told me she had a studio and she did family portraits and to come out. Up until then we still did not have pictures up of her because the photo sessions where a nightmare, she would scream and grab at the photographer...ug I still have nightmares. They had outfits in every size for adults and children, just in case. Her back drops were gorgeous and not the typical cheesy ones you see. She had hats and bows and toys and couches...I could go on forever. The pictures are fabulous and my daughter had the best time.
