We scheduled a 30 min session with Personal Touch Photography (John) to take family photos at Henderson Beach. He was friendly and laid back and gave good direction during the session. Our little one can be difficult to get to smile for photos and he was able to capture some really pretty photos of her playing in the sand/water with a big grin on her face, that we will treasure. The next day he texted us a preview collage and then emailed a link to our online gallery a little over a week later. Our total cost was around $275, a reduced military rate I believe (with 25% down to get on his schedule). My experience with John Armour & his wife was great the day of the wedding (2/25/17). The photos of our wedding were great as well. The videography is another story and why I'm so saddened by Personal Touch. Of the 4-6 hours of coverage from two videographers that we requested the DVD we received today (8/2/17), consisted of an entire 32 minutes and 42 seconds of raw footage. We have NO FOOTAGE of our reception AT ALL. That's no first dance, no father-daughter/mother-son dance, no bouquet toss, no garter retrieval/toss, no cutting of the cake, NOTHING. The little footage that we received (FYI, only after complaining to the Florida AG's office) is supposedly of the interviews from our guests, of course half of the interviews aren't included. There's footage of the bridal party getting ready and some video of the ceremony of which you can't hear because the mic was connected to the camera that the videographer erased. YES! AN ENTIRE CAMERA WAS ERASED! I informed Mr. Armour that nothing is ever erased and there's retrieval software available. The worst part about it was that I was notified of this via email two months after the wedding. I don't understand why footage would still be on a camera two months after an event and I can't fathom how you "erase" it! Below is the lovely email notice. I quote, "Amazing! I was getting ready to transfer your unedited video to disc and it completely erased off one camera. I do still have one camera footage of the wedding and the interviews, however it is not the camera with the wireless microphones for quality audio. I can't believe that just happen, however I can reduce the video to only $175 for the footage I have of the wedding and interviews. I'm totally upset with myself at the moment for I have never done that before. I will resend the invoice discounted to only $175 ( it's still footage of the wedding ceremony and some great candid comments of your family and guest ). " vr Mr. John F. We had a great time taking family photos on the beach behind our condo in Santa Rosa Beach earlier this week. John was fantastic and made the experience fun for everyone! The date we picked ended up being very windy, which presented a challenge as three of us had long hair but John did a good job positioning us to minimize the impact. Not being from Florida there were quite a few choices for photographers. John is by far the best. He responds very quickly and is very kind and courteous. He met us at our hotel and we followed him to a place where it didn't have many people for pictures. It was beautiful and working with him was awesome. He even made the trip all the way from Fort Walton Beach, Fl and despite the distance and the traffic, he arrived in good spirits and was very professional.
