Depending on where you wish to be employed Cary is able to tell you several bars/restaurants house drinks/recipes or about bartenders who were students of his in the past to give you an edge. It's an excellent classroom, and you'll definitely be comfortable behind a bar long before the end of the sessions. The TABC instructor who provides legal licensing on Thursday classes is incredibly professional and welcoming and her anecdotes keep it lighthearted when helping you realize the responsibility of this job/career you wish to pursue. But most importantly, this goal is achieved by your work and determination. This is not a "do your homework and guaranteed a job" Develop personality as much as your handiwork. Any other school who gives any guarantee as such cannot provide it. ABC is honest, optimistic and if money is an issue they provide great payment plans to help you along. There are buildings for scaling, stairways for climbing, towers for rappelling, buildings for burning, a disaster area and lots of classrooms. There are open fields used for training, search training and obstacles for search dogs. Parking is plentiful but be sure not to block in the many driveways. They recently upgraded the auditorium and made it more friendly for the class room environment with swivel chairs and larger writing surface. If you get the opportunity to come for a DFD graduation or CERT training, you will be impressed!

I was a little worried now that they may not be equipped for a completely deaf baby, even though they do baby signs. My daughter's ECI teacher goes there about once a month and the teachers at this school are over the top. They are learning more about sign language and even put up the materials from the ECI teacher. I can't even explain my feelings about this school and their willingness to learn more sign language for my daughter.
