Had to wait over an hour to be seen. Lady doctor was unprofessional , she spoke harshly when giving directions. She also pushed my head bit aggressively, so she can get a better look. I don't have any hearing problem, nor language barrier for the doctor to be treating me so poorly. I'll not go back to this place. read more

Arriving 10 minutes early today for a new-patient appointment with Dr. Jeffrey Jacobs, MD., I was cheerfully greeted and asked to have a seat. 30 minutes after my appointment time, I had a preliminary examination by Dr. Jeffrey's technician. I was directed to again have a seat out in the reception room and wait to be called back in to see the doctor. I waited for nearly TWO HOURS after my scheduled appointment time. There were no updates on the delay nor information regarding anticipated wait time. There certainly were no apologies for the delay. After the 2 hours, all the reception staff members apparently left for lunch, as there was no one in sight from whom to seek information. More than a bit perturbed, I left. I walked out the door without ever seeing Dr. Jacobs, MD. As a dentist, I understand that treatment and procedures can sometimes require more time than anticipated. Prior to my appointment, Harvard Eye Associates repeatedly reminded me of my appointment time and of the importance of punctuality. "Arrive 15 minutes early," they requested -- presumably so the doctor will not have to wait for me. Apparently, that only applies to the doctor. Patients absolutely deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. At a minimum, their time has value, and it is remarkably unprofessional to ignore someone waiting --- for 2 hours. read more

Dr Keller tried to convince me to have 2nd cataract removed before I moved out of the country. 7 years later, I still don't need the surgery. Very pushy doctor..and his woman assistant/scheduler was extremely rude. They both tried to sell me additional lenses, and she screamed at me on the phone when I called inquiring about cost of post surgery medication. Felt like cattle in waiting area. Received bill for $1550.00 for cataract surgery (4 years) after my surgery I was not made aware of any extra charges,especially being billed four years after the surgery I was contacted by a collection agency which, I paid for the charges Had no choice, I did not want to hurt my credit rating! Scheduled eye exam for cataract surgery in their Orange practice, did all the eye tests at that time, scheduled surgery and everything from that point on was mandatory for me to travel to their Laguna Hills practice, no exception, pre operation I had to redo all the exams I had just done a week before, post operation was scheduled for their Laguna Hills practice again with no exception. Kind of a "Bait and Switch" if you think your going to be seen in their Orange practice forget it, not going to happen! And why retest everything again just a week later!? Idk but at least my eyes are done, Doctor was nice, didn't spend a lot of time with me, he blew in and blew out, nothing more, nothing less. But if your expectations are that you are going to stay at the Orange practice, for everything that's not going to happen and you will be required to travel down to Laguna Hills as I'm sure this is so the Doctors will be close to their homes. read more

I got so disappointed. I met an ophthalmologist for my after-surgery side effects and tried to have his help, but the doctor was unprofessional, nonpatient, and didn't communicate enough about the issue. He didn't explain the possible solutions. Ultimately, he just referred me to the over-the-counter medication and asked me to return for another visit in 2 weeks. This level of unproficiency was unbelievable. BTW, don't expect any smile from anyone once you get there until you leave. Strongly recommend finding another clinic and doctor. read more

Harvard eye and retinopathy Before the shots in my eye, I was never given sufficient deadening and as a result, the shots were very painful. I would never recommend Dr. Bhoot as a result and I went to another eye firm as a result as they gave sufficient deadening.. Don't go here. read more

This is a big clinic and everyone was very nice except the doctor I was scheduled to see. From the moment Dr. Charles Keller walked in he was a jerk. I was treated like I was an idiot and an annoyance in his day. He used a light that was so bright to examine my eyes that I felt like I was staring at the sun. I couldn't keep my eyes open. It was painful and I expressed my pain and he yelled at me. In my opinion, he is one of those doctors who thinks he walks on water. I also believe his eyes are so bad he can't see well enough without using this extreme light as he is no spring chicken. I will forever be traumatized by this experience and would rather live with eye discomfort and poor eyesight than see this doctor again. The place is nice but you've been warned about this creepy doctor. read more

I knew from that first call to Harvard Eye Associates that we were going to be glad we chose them. The office staff was friendly and helpful. However, when I entered the exam room my eyes were immediately dilated. The doctor looked inside the eyes and then asked me to read the letters from the eye chart. How was I suppose to do that when my eyes were dilated? The eyes should have been dilated after the visual acuity exam. They did not charge me for this part of the exam but asked me to come back to do it again. The doctor also told me I had the beginning of Glaucoma. Since they couldn't even get a simple acuity exam accurately, I doubted what the doctor said. Sure enough, I went to another doctor who said I do not have Glaucoma and was able to complete the visual acuity exam without a problem. I would never go back to Harvard Eye Associates or recommend them to anyone I care about. read more

Dr Sarek Teymoorian is the best. First and foremost he is a fantastic glaucoma specialist. I have been going to him for years for pre-glaucoma. I am happy with his treatment plan for me and it is working! I have recommended him to friends who continue to see him. He is caring and listens to you. Recently with the advent of Covid 19 and the order for social distancing, he came up with a way to continue to see me for my regular eye exams via a "drive thru" system. This new way to treat me is creative, efficient, and effective...and I did not even have to get out of my car. I must admit looking at needing cataract surgery had me a little freaked out - okay, MORE than a little. I was referred to Dr Keller by my primary. Nervous as I was the people working with Dr. Keller were pretty terrific. Especially Anthony. He made me feel comfortable in a non rushed quiet way, explaining everything we were doing. Talking to Dr Keller allayed my fears even more so. He spoke slowly and with information I could understand, his exam was thorough AND he cleared up a small infection in my eye that had been plaguing me for weeks, that I thought was just dry eyes. I have the surgery scheduled, feel confident it will go well and actually beginning to look forward to it! I will be able to see so much better. If you have a choice, you should see these people. They were unable to see him because of his age and the particular issue... that might have been the end of it anywhere else, but I was then given the contact information for two other great pediatric ophthalmologists. I had cataract surgery on both eyes with Dr. Duna Raoof. Both surgeries went flawlessly the in office follow up visits with er were always warm and professional. Dr. Raoof call me the same night after each surgery to check to see how I was doing. The office personnel at Harvard Eye are all friendly and knowledgeable about insurance procedures and work to not make your out f pocket painful.
