I had a tooth break and had to go. My experience was wonderful. The dentist I had was Dr. Sangha. She was so calm and patient. As I sat in the chair I started to sweat, have hot flashes and could feel heart pounding. She talked me through the laughing gas and monitored my pulse to make sure I was calming down. She used oral freezing about two minutes before the needle. I did not feel the needle!! The procedure was over before I knew it. She also did some cleaning on that side since I was frozen. If you are as afraid of the dentist as I am. I highly recommend this place!

So my daughter has been Dr. Cross's patient-we had seen him once free of charge last year and then never needed to come here again. So this time around after visiting the Orthodontist the decision made was 4 teeth extraction for improving crowding. My daughter went in this afternoon and the front staff greeted us took all our insurance info sent in all the direct billing for us-we pay upfront and the they direct bill for us and we receive the check that's how they work. Baby A. was taken inside in a timely manner and Patricia our dental assistant made her feel so so comfortable.She briefed us with the procedure and Dr. Cross soon came in and made A. at easy securing her the 4 shots won't feel and the extraction would feel nothing but a tug and pressure. All this was done within an hours time-Patrica constantly held my daughters hand and patted on her held she felt so so nice she just told me and Dr. Cross obviously did a great job keeping A. engaged with his short conversations.He is very experienced and gentle. This clinic is super clean-modern-lots of staff and lots of parking.Its situated in the Milton mall by Lowes. After months of considering a new dentist after the birth of our daughter and moving to Guelph. We ended up choosing moose lake dental because of the positive reviews and friendly atmosphere it promoted. We were wrong with our assumptions and would definitely warn people to steer away from moose lake dental if you have any children and accidentally arrive late because of difficulties getting your child to leave on time. Me and my wife were scheduled for back to back cleanings, I went first and was told during the cleaning that an additional cleaning may be required. I was okay with that, but after the cleaning was finished I was not provided the full service that I came in for which was scaling and a polish. They later mention it is because I was late. I've never in my life had this type of treatment because of being a bit late. Then my wife goes into the room and gets a full dental cleaning service completed, scaling and polish and polishing only taking 2-3 mins, confirmed by my wife. On top of it all, we weren't provided the bag of goodies that all other dentists give you after every cleaning visit, with a toothbrush and dental floss, sometimes a promotional item. Secondly, leading up to the appointment we were in contact through email letting us know how our visit will be because of the anxieties we had bringing our little girl. They ensured us they wanted our baby girl to come to the visit to be introduced and familiarized with all the dental tools and the whole environment. As new patients we expected to have a meeting with Radovan and introduce himself to us because we were new patients. I could see him in his office standing and wasn't busy with any patients during our 2 hour visit. As much as I'd like to think we were just unlucky with our experience. I highly suggest that this dental office not overbook and allow for time to introduce themselves to new patients especially when the receptionist was reassuring us and recommended we do back to back appointments so our baby gets familiar. With all this being said, be prepared to be overcharged the recommended maximums from your benefit company. They will tell you your benefit is using last year's rates. They are not accommodating and will try to squeeze as much money and enforce you to come for additional appointments to complete a 3min procedure of polishing. Originally upon checkout they wanted to charge for the polishing, but we had to let the receptionist know that the hygienist did not finish and didn't complete all work stated. Just keep in mind when reviewing any paperwork to ensure everything they did was in fact what they did. Lastly, they promote a certain lifestyle of drinking and gambling. They provide non alcoholic beverages(Heineken and Waterloo Radler) in the waiting room and have a wheel of fortune slot machine in the kids play closet. Overall summary, Choose a family friendly dentist and look for recommendations from other parents in Guelph from mom groups or any other parent meetups. If you absolutely want to give moose lake dental a try. Just remember to not show up late at all or you risk not receiving the full outlined service, and do not double book appointments under the assumption your little ones would be welcomed and provided a fun safe environment to play.

I asked my mother and called her dentist and they couldn't see me right away. However they referred me to Dentistry on Jamieson. I called after hrs and left a message. The very next morning (a Saturday) I received a call from Jess and I was in, right away. Jess' directions were clear and the location was easy to find. I walked into a clean lined office of calmness which was needed cause I was a little apprehensive. I even noticed they have iPads for the kids. I was greeted warmly and after filling in a easy new patient form I was promptly brought into the examination room by Justine and she filled me in on X-rays and what they were going to do. The new office boasted state of the art new equipment including a panoramic X-ray that was so easy and my favorite the flat screen tv to distract me from what was about to happen in my mouth. Now I have avoided dentists like the plague after some harrowing experiences with 2 separate dentist. Dr. Asi came in and had a calm confidence about him and he put me to ease right away. He reviewed my urgent issues and brought up some new findings. His knowledge and communication with me was excellent as he explained everything clearly and answered all my questions and put my concerns to rest. Now was the time for the broken tooth extraction. Remember my dislike for this whole process. Dr. Asi's gentle approach and technique was amazing. I hardly felt anything and before I knew it, it was all over. Now for what could be the painful part - the cost. I don't have any dental coverage so everything is out of pocket. This part was just as gentle as the procedure. Dr. Asi's rates are the most reasonable out there. A great dentist with great rates, I am returning to get the other issues and recommendations taken care of. From the initial walk in, to meeting the great staff and a talented doctor it was the best dentist visit in my life. I was pleasantly relieved that it worked out that way.
