My current attorney read over my divorce papers and said "what the world!" Could not believe an attorney actually drew up these papers. It contradicts itself from one paragraph to another. My ex's attorney said same thing .... papers are a joke. Both attorneys are afraid of going to court, not knowing what the judge will say! Somehow I always end up with the worse case scenario. I could not recommend the attorney after hearing these comments from other attorneys. I do remember she never had time for me. Never could reach her or talk to her. Sad

She is quite rude, and in my case, conspired with the opposing attorney. The circumstances of this were quite compelling. After over $30,000.00 in her fees, most motions were never heard by the court, no measurable progress in my favor, continuances far too frequent, and she abandoned me without compliance with Bar guidelines. Complaints were filed with the State Bar, but predictably, the Bar ruled her misconduct didn't rise to the level of violating the BAR's rules. Imagine that, lawyers overseeing lawyers, wolves watching the hen house. If you want a crook for your lawyer, hire Van Dyken.
