The biggest con of this establishment is the price, as they are significantly more expensive than all other golf courses in the area. This is counter balanced slightly by the fact that they are also the only 18 hole course, as the other two are only 9 holes. But just to be clear their 9 holes is still much more expensive than other 9 holes. They have a full bar and also restaurant on site, and do a wing deal (which sees quite a lot of people attend during the summer) on Wednesday's. They easily sell the most amount of memberships a year of all the courses, and are the most busy but also best maintained because of it. They do have a driving range (same price as Family Funland but only get 40 balls instead of FF's 100 balls). They also do have rental equipment. I forgot my driver once but they were very friendly helping me rent another for the day and it wasn't expensive at all to do so Overall, would recommend. If you are just starting out they do offer classes. I might recommend one of the other two courses for those just learning with friends or for those who are price conscious though. Just more bang for your buck when starting out. Serious golfers and those who are making a hobby out of it though will all eventually graduate towards Ainsdale, as it is still just the best course around.

They have one EV plug in here that is free to use but slower for charging. The guy that checked us into the hotel didn't really seem all there. This hotel is dog friendly and we had 2 pooches with us. It seems like they put most of the dogs on the first floor. The lobby had a microwave out there for common use and free coffee was laid out here in the morning. They have a restaurant here called Bishop's Landing that does all meals. As for the room, it was comfortable. It definitely could have been cleaner. There were rogue hairs everywhere in the bathroom, particularly the shower. For example, there were ones under the bathmat that waved hello as the water ran under it. The hotel is located right next to the marina and there are paths that you can take for a scenic stroll at sunset. Not the best stay but for one night, this would probably still be my go to place to stay in Owen Sound.
