Jared (spelling?) picked up my brother's motorcycle after a crash. He took great care loading and storing it and the pickup/payment was very smooth with zero hassles. Everyone there also showed great concern for my brother, who was seriously injured. It was nice to have a trustworthy group of people to deal with in a situation like that - one less thing to worry about on a very traumatic day.

On a Saturday, we were visiting a friend (an hour away from home) when the car wouldn't start. The battery was less than a year old and I had just put in an alternator myself, so I was thinking it was the starter. We tried a jump and a battery charge to no avail. My friend called a nearby tow truck, and I asked them to drop it off at Nachreiner's. The "not-too-bright" receptionist called to say there was nothing wrong. No talking to the actual mechanic here, I guess. I told them again to put in a starter. They called to say the starter was in and everything checked out. On the drive home, the 'check engine' light came on! I called to say I'm bringing it back and I wanted them to put in a battery, since it's under warranty. She did not check on the warranty before we drove back there. She then informed me that she would not honor the warranty since it was "about to expire"(!) Really?! That means it's not expired and still under warranty. Then she had the nerve to ask if I wanted to buy an extended warranty! Well, I guess not if you won't honor it. The woman acts overly friendly (ugh, no thanks) while trying to get as much money from you as they can. Obviously, they are incompetent. I'm done with them. I should have know from what happened the last time I was there for break pads. I told the dunce at the counter that I already had some brake pads and I would leave them in the front seat, and I also told the mechanic this. Guess what? They ignored my box of brake pads and put on new ones (and charged me for it). Come on, I told 2 people! Whoever got in the car to move it (maybe it was the dim-whit woman) must have seen the box on the front seat. I was upset about that and should have told them they made a mistake, and I should have never took my car there after that. I am done! So, I am warning everyone to stay STAY AWAY! Your car won't get fixed, but they'd be happy to charge you.

I had asked my own mechanic in the Milwaukee area what he would charge and he said in the neighborhood of $150. I asked Cory at TC Autoworks what he would charge and he said $45. Of course, I told him to go ahead with it. The job did not take long as I knew it wouldn't. Even so if you don't have the right tools you would not want to attempt this repair. When it was done I had to get going because other people were waiting so I asked Cory to write up the bill. He looked at me and said, "You know what, that job didn't take very long so there will be no charge today." I was shocked. When did you ever hear those words from a auto mechanic? I thanked him and I want to thank him again for that here. It's the least I can do to write TC Autoworks a great review. Got in the Suburban a short time later, and it was deader than a door nail! My husband walked over to the Shell and was directed to Four Way Auto. Ed brought the flat bed to tow our Sub to the shop and it turned out our old battery had died. It was soon replaced, payment arrangements were made (he doesn't take plastic) and we were on the road again in less than 2 hours. This could have been a disaster. What nice people, and such great service to stranded out-of-state travelers!

If I could give less than one star on a review I would! This place used to be decent, but over the…read morelast few years it has gone drastically downhill. I took my vehicle in in March because I had a leak in my fuel line. Not only did it take them seven hours to repair, but they hooked up the hoses wrong and were pumping exhaust fumes into my cab as well as causing my engine to sputter and the car to lurch as I was trying to drive it back in for them to fix it. After they did fix it, they acted like their mistake was not a big deal. I understand that everyone makes mistakes, but this one was pretty major, and I would think that if they had my car for seven hours initially, they should have been able to make sure that the lines were hooked up correctly. Their negligence has also put my mother's life in danger on at least two separate occasions. She went in to have new tires put on her car, a very normal procedure. On her way home the car was making a strange sound, so she pulled over to discover that her wheel almost fell off as she was driving down the highway. She called and had the vehicle towed back and after they fixed their mistake, which the owner made light of and made excuses for, she asked them to look over her car and make sure that everything was alright. According to them, everything was fine. After the incident, she noticed a sound that seemed to be getting worse, so she took the vehicle in to another repair service thinking that it was a wheel bearing going bad. The other service center found that the source of the sound was the U-joint that attached the axel to the steering column was about to snap, which would have caused my mother to loose control of the car. Not only did the damaged U-joint pass Bindl's inspection, but their failure to properly reattach my mother's wheel initially is a likely cause for it. If you value your vehicle and your safety, do not take your automobile to Bindl Tire and Auto.
