Placed a call to Lodi Shell not expecting an answer but was incredibly surprised by the positive tone and urgency that Bryan responded. He was incredibly quick, took less than 20 minutes just as he provided as an ETA. He quickly used the battery pack to start car. After hearing we had over 100 miles to our next destination, he said he would be hesitant to drive that far due to possible damage to alternator. He said he would be happy to check if they had the correct battery. We followed him back to the shop in Lodi, he quickly found the correct battery and changed 100 times faster than I could have done it. Not only was Bryan an incredibly nice guy, he also talked about how he really liked working for the owner (don't hear that much nowadays) and the generous support the owner provided to the community. 100% recommend Lodi Shell! What started out with they used to be a great dealership when they were a Chevrolet dealer. I took…read moremy truck they're figuring it would be done by professionals. I backed into a tree dented the box with tailgate and bumper they replaced tailgate and bumper with new parts, put a used box on the truck that had rust on it especially towards the body seam where they're welded together on the bottom edges. This is the most shocking part is they painted over top of the rust the rock chips the scratches and also under coded over top of grease and dirt so you can imagine that everything is now coming off as well as very noticeable chips in the paint underneath the fresh paint and scratches underneath the fresh paint. The worst part is the color does not even match the original vehicle color because they did not primer it just painted over top of the old paint without priming it. I thought at least being a body shop they would be able to match the paint but I guess not I did have to return this three times and finally I have given up and have nowhere else to turn. Meanwhile they got my $11,000 because what am I supposed to do not pay?. I guess I definitely learned my lesson and especially not to pay for something before is completed. I understand everyone does not have a good day and everything cannot be perfect but they can at least try to do a professional job not something that I took to the cities and paid $200 for. I guess next time it will have to be a guy in his garage because I've seen much better work done from that!

I took a car there and had the motor replaced with a new motor straight from the factory with an 8yr warranty.First off it took 3 weeks for him to get around to it.....then THE DAY I PICKED IT UP I ONLY MADE IT ACROSS TOWN BEFORE THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. Then after only 2359 mi my car began to leak lots of oil so I took it back to wheel city motors when they told me it was the rear main seal. I contacted the engine manufacturer who said they sent a new seal with the motor and if it was bad they would cover parts and labor but if wheel city motors had not put on the new seal nothing was covered. Kevin refused to do any work till he knew who was paying for the fix and refused to take the car apart to figure out if it was the the new seal that failed or his mechanic was lazy and left the old seal on.IT IS REAL SIMPLE....FIX THE CAR!! IF THE NEW SEAL IS BAD YOU GET PAID BY THE WARRANTY NO PROBLE...IF ITS THE OLD SEAL THAT IS STILL ON IT YOU FIX YOUR OWN SCREW UP After all of this I went to pick up my car to take somewhere else i calmly told Kevin "I dont think you handled this situation correctly at all, you never once made me feel like you cared about me or my car just you wallet." I come back 2 days later, it's in there another hour and the clown behind the desk comes out and says he forgot to order the part and none are available! He said they're always nornally available Lmao. Another time, weeks earlier, I had the A/C condenser/heater core replaced and told him to check the fuel filter, too. When the work was done he called, I asked how the fuel filter looked, he said "I forgot". LMAO. A few months prior to that, I had an 8 year old alternator replaced, the guy said I will call you by 5 with the quote for the work. He called two days later!!! This place has awful customer service, and a complete lack of respect for customers!!! Fuck these assholes, please DO NOT service your vehicles here, boycott them.

I've been using Douglas Car Care for the past year to purchase and mount winter and regular tires…read moreon a Prius and Saab because the service center is convenient to my farm nearby. Last month I was returning to Chicago when I experienced a pronounced vibration though the steering wheel of the Saab as I reached highway speed indicating a probable unbalanced wheel. The next day I called Douglas and described the problem to the owner, Larry. We agreed the car was unsafe to drive and that I should have the wheel balanced locally. The Firestone store found that all four wheels were unbalanced and that a rear directional tire was mounted backward. I forwarded the Firestone invoice to Douglas as Larry suggested I do. After 10 days I had received no reimbursement so I called again and this time I spoke with Brandon who had performed the servicing on the Saab. Once more I was assured that the reimbursement would be made promptly. A month later no check from Douglas to correct their errors.

Supposedly their system messed up and didn't include taxes. And they knew about the issue, but didn't seem to care nor took the time to double check the sheet to make sure it was correct before giving it to me. Would I have purchased at that price? Hell no. No apology, nothing. The salesman (Collin) didn't offer any information about the vehicle at all. I got everything from CarFax online. Didn't even try to sell it to me, was very impersonal. I asked about getting a roof rack and he said we could buy one, the van had one already! Seriously. They didn't disclose a serious chemical spill in the vehicle, we are now stuck with a vehicle that makes us nauseous and gives us headaches. Laundry soap EVERYWHERE in the carpet. I have never regretted a vehicle purchase or encounter with a dealership so much in my life. Stay the hell away!!!!

I did the next best thing and ignored the oil change! I saw this place from the highway and decided to check it out. The staff was awesome; Took me in right away. I walked the lot while the service was performed. To my surprise, I only made it about a quarter way down the lot before the vehicle was ready to go (a typical oil change in the city takes about 45min - 1hr). The employees were solid, humble people and happy to do a job well done. They knew the oil weight, the filter was new, and my car hasn't blown up!
