The house is restored in a way that shows you some of the original structure. Furnishings are all period pieces, I think there was one family piece there. You have to see the house via guided tours which looked like they started based on when visitors arrived. I was a little frustrated at having to sit through a slow paced and overly detailed introduction before we could see the house. I've been a docent at another house and it's easy to think as a docent that your side stories are as interesting to guests as they are to you.

They loan AV equipment and projectors for a modest rate. There's computers and free wi-fi. The staff is friendly. New members can only take 3 items total out at time for a couple of months. That's weak. There's a ton of sketchy people hanging out there all day long inside and out front. Some are special needs adult men and some are schizo. Which is disruptive and sometimes they bother people. In spite the quibbles, I enjoy using it to feed my need to read.
