My work colleague at Hagesund told me not to worry about being at the airport earlier for my flight.
Boy, was he right.
I guess it's a refreshing change from big airports where security checks can be a couple of meters long, this one, you go in and you go out almost right away, more like a drive thru. If only all security checks in all airports like these. People were friendlier (none of those purposely stern voice that is supposed to carry authority) and things went faster.
On food selection, however - well Norway is generally short on that, so it's really no surprise for an airport this small. If you're not fan of Norwegian pride of a pizza place, then you should bring something, but don't fret, everything here is generally done so fast, you would probably eat somewhere else far from Haugesund. read more
