Sam Smiley is a deli, so there's no seating or any frills. When you walk in, there is a display of 20 different types of sandwiches. Prosciutto, Mozzarella, Turkey, Chicken, Indian Curries, Paninis, vegetarian sandwiches and more. The most fun I had was trying to pick a new delicious sandwich. All the sandwiches come on a skinny baguette, a piece of lettuce, and some delicious insides. My favorite was the Tandoori Chicken Sandwich (or was it the Chicken Tikka??? I don't remember). You point, pay, and eat. They sell out of the good sandwiches around 1:30pm, so make sure you come well before then! I really would go back to Cambridge just to have a sandwich from this place. We don't have anything equivalent in San Francisco. Boo!!

This treasure chest is located on Mill Road which I am beginning to call 'The Road of Wonders'! There is something a little off about dear old Cambridge Resale and that is the gun department they seem to be fashioning at the back of the store. I haven't yet enquired into this and maybe it's best not to?! That aside, it's a great place with a wealth of things to buy and don't forget, they don't just sell to you, they by from you too.

Mr Crabbe is a real expert with a lovely range of stock. Given the way the price of Chinese porcelain has rocketed over the past few years it was a very pleasant surprise to find 18th century and earlier pieces in perfect condition for less than £100 and he is always happy to haggle. He also has a small selection of cloisonné and jade etc. too. Highly recommended.
