When I first met Kathy and Sonny I was a skeptic, my first time visiting the house I was growled at and told to leave while I was upstairs in Joushas room. While I was in the scratcher room something POKED me in the back. Freaked me out a bit but I wanted more and still do.You may not see a full-bodied apparition but you can count on legit EVPs ( electronic voice phenomenon). They have plenty of equipment for you to use. People have been touched, poked, scratched,bitten,growled at hissed at, some have seen apparitions. I know this much that the Haunted hill house is very much alive. Doors open on their own things get knocked over and moved. Every now and then the piano plays on its own. You never really feel alone at the HHH. The house has such a dark history it's no wonder spirits are stuck there. Take plenty of pictures while you're there because you're gonna catch something you can't explain. Haunted hill house is no smoke and mirrors B.S. I had no idea what was in store for us the first time we went to Haunted Hill House. You can feel the spirits outside as well as inside the house. I'm a paranormal investigator with Northeast Texas Paranormal Society and so excited to be someplace that allows you to run your own investigation. The house is set up to do paranormal research. Cameras in every room with monitors in the kitchen. Sonny and Katherine Estes, the owners are very knowledgeable and helpful with plenty of equipment to use if you don't have any. The activity is unbelievable so many layers of spirit connection, from shadow figures to children's voices, and more. We visited this house last night. They have all of the paranormal tools that you will need and show you how to use them.
