I should warn you that if you aren't careful you might end up catching the wrong train back to Cologne. The reason I say that is because there is a light rail platform that runs between Cologne and Bonn, and unless you are planning on getting off somewhere in between, you might find out that the trip takes a lot longer than you originally anticipated. Anyway, the main line platforms are above as opposed to below, and the trains are a lot bigger as well. Oh, you can also interchange to the U-bahn, especially if you are planning on heading out to Konigswinter. read more

This place is a disaster. Poorly run construction site that never seems to get done. Needs some proper management!

I would avoid this station unless you are heading to Koblenz or other points south of Bad Godesberg. If traveling north I prefer Bonn Central Station.

Was soll man zu einem Bahnhof sagen? Ich kenne schlimmere und schönere. Der Bonner Hbf ist nicht so dreckig, wie in manch anderer Stadt. Außerdem ist er klein und übersichtlich. Natürlich trifft sich im Untergeschoss nicht die High Society von Bonn, aber das ist ja immer so. read more

Muss leider auch zugeben, der Bonner Bahnhof ist kein wirklich schönes Aushängeschild, vorallen der untere Teil ist eher dubios und verkommen. Die Geschäfte locken wohl eher Kreaturen der Nacht an, als Reisende! Dennoch, man gewöhnt sich an alles! Auch an schlechte Dinge read more

Der Bahnhof in Bonn muss dringend modernisiert werden. Kein wirklicher Knotenpunkt aber trotzdem kein Grund den Bahnhof so verkommen zu lassen. Wer hier strandet, verflucht den Bahnhof. read more
