If you're older, disabled, or a larger body it might be very difficult for you because the step up is steep and through a tight space wedged between the glass and the bathroom counter. (I write this as a 5'4" 140lb woman) also the bathtub would not fill up - only knee level or so and it would stop. The restaurant & bar were very nice. Enjoyed the food and drinks. The breakfast buffet was good, plenty of options.

We were initially upgraded to the renovated historic tower, only to discover the TV didn't work because the entire tower's system was down. We were then moved to the older building, where the first two rooms reeked of cigarette smoke. The third room still smelled faintly of smoke. None of these rooms came close to Marriott standards. The problems kept coming. The coffee machine exploded coffee all over the desk and wall. We requested a replacement and asked for the room to be cleaned while we were out from 11:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. We returned to find nothing had been done. Housekeeping finally showed up around 6:00 p.m. Completely unacceptable. To top it off, we walked onto the nearly empty restaurant patio with drinks and were told to leave within five minutes. The service, condition of the hotel, and overall experience were an embarrassment to the Marriott brand. The only positives were an excellent iced americano and the accommodating front desk staff and bartender. However, something is clearly off here. Avoid this property. Marriott should seriously consider removing it from its portfolio.

My room was not one of the apartment type ones they have, more of a standard hotel room. It was a good size room with a very comfortable bed. All the usual amenities, safe, hair dryer, free wifi etc etc. The bar area is large with plenty of spaces for people to sit and drink, relax and chat. They have a good variety of alcohol available and a limited cocktail list so you should find something to drink if you are that way inclined. The breakfast area is set up with some standard tables to eat at along with some more 'quirky' stations to eat at. The breakfast is the standard offerings, you can get poached eggs or omelettes made on request. It's location is good their is a large shopping mall just up the street and the tram and underground is not to far away.

Second thing is the room was nice and clean with welcome gummy bears - haribo. The bed was comfortable, and not much of a view, but all good as it was a chill spot to rest and spend the night. They also had a fridge loaded with extra items available for use with purchase and comes in handy with extra space to store other items that need to be chilled. Third perk was it's close proximity to the city and it makes walking around a breeze especially with the train station nearby. Overall, a great hotel with a nice location in Frankfurt to enjoy all that is nearby!

It is across from the street from the train depot and within walking distance of the river (Main). We walked 4 blocks to the river and across the bridge to find the old downtown - but probably missed it by a few blocks. Close to the hotel is both the red light district (Taunustrasse) and a closed off walking block with a Starbucks and many different restaurants (Kaiserstrasse). So just an FYI not to turn on the wrong street! The hotel itself is really on the corner and hard to find. Look for the white art windows. The sushi restaurant downstairs was very good and convenient for tired travelers. There are actually 2 - one is cafeteria style and one is sit down. In the cafeteria one, they have an early bird special for 6, 10 and 20 plates (as opposed to a charge per plate based on color of the rim). Parking is non existent on the street - but there is a parking garage across the street. We did not really figure out how it works - we ended up paying $15 euro cash to get out without a paper ticket (we just had a red token). So ask more about that! The view is nice, the room is small but clean and it has a mini-bar. There is no real lobby - just a front desk and multiple doors on each floor that are kind of hard to open. The lobby is the "O" floor in the elevator. Wi-fi was $2 euro a night but you could hook up multiple devices.

The rooms lack personality but the comfortable bed made up for that. For a hotel room in Europe, this was large. There was a desk in the room and a chair. I did not try the restaurant but my colleague said the food there is good. The location worked well. It is an easy walk to the train station or the old town area. The hotel is located in a more residential area so it was quiet. There is a parking garage adjoining the hotel that is available to the public.
