By far the best selection in town and great service. As for the first reviewer, they do not like to keep their humidity at 80RH, the ideal humidity for cigars is 71-72RH. At 80 RH you would have mold on everything. The problem is we live in a super dry climate in AB and the minute you open the door to the Humidors you let out a lot of humidity by almost 10RH or more, a walk in Humidors has to have a higher level of RH than a cabinet. If the hygrometers read 80RH, it could be misreading or early in the morning after humidifiers have been running all night. Having said that, check out their Aficiando featured cigars that are unique to them and the Special edition cubans. Everything is in great shape, they really look after their cigars unlike most convenience style smoke shops. By far the best in town, a must stop for USA tourists. read more

Great place for smoking products. Shisha is often just an accessory in the shop but I was able to have a decent convo with the staff. The main attraction is, deservedly, the cigar selection and prices. Great service, great prices and they also have a customer appreciation day every once in a while. For having tried a bunch of the nicer stores around town this one is indubitably worth the detour. read more

Didn't test her knowledge as I knew what I was looking for but I would expect that she knows her stuff as she seems to own the place and therefore does the ordering. Have a cigar offers a massive walk in humidor with an amazing selection of premium cigars. I recently read the cigar companion by cigar aficionado and it said to ask lot of questions and rely on your tobacconist when you have questions, so when I went it I did exactly that. I was able to get my hands on a great introductory humidor and a nice little selection of cigars. The lady working there was really helpful and nice, she walked me through some great options and told me how to setup the humidor. When it was all said and done she even threw in 2 lbs of Cuban coffee as a little extra treat after we were rung through. It's those little extras that are missing in a lot of retail experiences but was most welcome at have a cigar, I can't wait to go back! read more

Just for clarity, this review is only on the new vape section of their store, "vapour junction". I was driving by 99th street and saw a big advertisement for Vapour Junction stating that it had the "best selection" etc..., the same kind of thing every vape store says. I'm always in the market for new and different juices so I stopped by. I found it hard to find the store, and it was only after I looked online that I realized Vapour Junction was located in Hav-A-Cigar (not mentioned on the sign). When I walked in I noticed that the vapour section was a tiny stand at the very front of the store. The clerk called a woman named Jen to come over and assist me. I asked her if she had a taste bar. She said she did, but I couldn't see one. It turned out the taste bar was this giant disarray of tanks sprawled on this tiny tin plate. Okay sure, whatever. I proceeded to ask her which ones were naturally flavoured as opposed to artificially flavoured. She responded that she didn't know, but suggested the grape since it tasted like, you guessed it, grapes. Grapes are natural, right, so the juice has to be. At this point I just wanted to leave, but I decided to give the stand one last shot. This is where it gets really brutal. She hooked the tank (a really cheap $2 tank) to a really cheap device. In my experience a good vape shop will have a decent device with adjustable wattage/voltage for the taste bar. That isn't the brutal part though. She hands it over for me to try with an ALREADY USED disposable drip tip. Why don't I just lick a toilet seat while I'm at it? I pointed it out to her and she promptly got a new one. However the new one wasn't individually wrapped, like most are, and she handed it to me with her whole hands. Like I wanted her hand in my mouth? Anyways, I tried the juice and I didn't like it, so she just started randomly suggesting different juices without asking me what I like, etc.. I quickly made an excuse and got the hell out of there. Will never come back. I don't suggest anyone go there for vape supplies/juice. I hope the owners see this and decide to step up their game. I've heard the cigar portion of their shop is great, so why let this new budding business of theirs be the most unprofessional craphole ever? read more

Nice walk in humidor with an excellent selection of cuban and non-cuban cigars. As with any place, some items were a bit more expensive and others a bit cheaper. The lady that works there is a bit too "helpful" and tends to pickup cigars for you and put them into your hands. I usually politely examine it and put it back. They do keep their humidor on the high side due to it being a walk-in, and most of their stock is fine, but some of their more obscure cigars tend to be sitting there for a long time under that humidity. Seem some that were in very bad shape. But, 99% of the other stock was perfect. Good selection of lighters and accessores too. read more

They have a really good selection of cuban and non cubans, their humidor is definitely on the higher side of things but like others have mentioned, it is Alberta. If you live here and have a humidor, you know what kind of work it takes to keep it above that 70% range. That being said, Ive bought a few cigars here over the years and they smoke just fine. Only issue I've ever had with the place are the prices, they're definitely one of the pricier specialty tobacco stores in the city. I won't mention other businesses but you can expect to pay a couple dollars more on average on an average $12-$15 cigar. But if Im in the neighborhood and my humidor is between orders from cheaper sources, I'd still pop in for quickie. read more
