The boat holds about 25 passengers and is comfortable. Captain Tim navigates while Janene narrates the tour. Janene provides interesting history and facts about the lake, London Bridge and the people that designed and built Lake Havasu. The almost two hour trip guided us through Copper Canyon, where Janene pointed out geological features. Captain Tim expertly maneuvered the boat so that everyone could take good photos of the sunset and London Bridge. Janene took photos of the guests so that we could remember our adventure. They offered water to us when we boarded the boat, and we were allowed to bring our own beverages on board with us. We brought wine and beer. Assorted music plays during the cruise. The cruise is an excellent way to experience the beauty of the area and lake. This a 5+ stars adventure.

Absolutely the worst RV park experience we've ever had. I would NEVER stay here again!…read more We had reservations, but when we arrived at our assigned site, someone else was already occupying it. They moved us to another site--only to discover that someone was in that site too. At that point, we dropped the 5th wheel and waited while the office tried to figure out where they could put us. We lost basically the entire afternoon dealing with something that should have been handled before we ever arrived. Eventually, they put us in a pull-in site even though we were traveling with a 5th wheel. We made it work, but the hookups were on the wrong side and extremely far away. And somehow, despite the park being mostly empty, they proceeded to pack the sites immediately around us with rental trailers. The people next to us arrived with multiple trailers and several vehicles and proceeded to take over the area around our site. They worked on their cars, repaired a flat tire, and repeatedly started a boat that appeared to have no exhaust, right next to our trailer. They would start the boat, rev it up while it backfired and stalled, and then do it all over again. This went on for hours every day for several days. Then we got to enjoy loud, high-bass music late into the night, along with more boat engine work. They also apparently thought doing burnouts in their truck was a good idea. This place has virtually no control over what goes on in the park. People pull into whatever sites they want. People are parked in the wrong sites and aren't made to move. The office seems completely incapable of keeping track of reservations or enforcing anything. Many of the trailers throughout the park also appeared to be extremely beat-up rental units. But the final straw came on the evening of our fourth day. Daniel from the front office called us and told us they could no longer honor the price we had originally been charged. He said the new owner was changing promotions daily and that they could no longer honor the First Responder rate they had quoted us because the owner had changed the promotion. Wait--what? We were already checked in and in the middle of a stay that had already been paid for, and they decided they wanted to change the price after the fact. I've stayed at a lot of RV parks, and I've never experienced anything like this. Wrong sites. Occupied reservations. Hours wasted trying to get checked in. No enforcement of site assignments. Constant noise. Beat-up rental trailers. And then changing the price in the middle of our stay. This place is completely disorganized from top to bottom. Save yourself the aggravation and stay somewhere else. We will absolutely never be back.

The only options offered were a 20' Tritoon with 150 HP for the first day and a 24' Tritoon with 150 HP for the second day. This was a significant downgrade in both size and performance from what we reserved, especially considering we had a large group and specifically selected the larger, more powerful boat for that reason. To make matters worse, we were expected to switch boats halfway through our vacation, and the only adjustment offered was the normal price difference between the boats--not any additional accommodation for the inconvenience or the fact that they could not provide what we booked. Mechanical problems happen, and I understand that. What disappointed me was how the situation was handled. If you're renting for a special occasion or family vacation, I would recommend having a backup plan or confirming that the specific boat you reserved will actually be available. When we returned the boat, we were told the propeller was damaged. I've owned a boat and worked with prop repair shops before, so I know minor dings like this typically cost around $150-$200 to fix. However, we were charged $350, which felt excessive--especially since rental companies usually get better pricing. To make matters worse, staff couldn't keep their story straight. One person said the prop needed to be replaced, then another said it was just a repair. That inconsistency didn't sit right. They also charged sales tax on the repair, which I don't believe is applicable. It wasn't about the $27--it was the principle. I even called local prop shops afterward and confirmed pricing was much lower than what I was charged. From the beginning, I had concerns. During check-out, they pointed out every small scratch on a boat that already had significant wear (over 1,300 hours). It felt like I was being set up for a charge. I understand paying for damage--but this felt more like price gouging than a fair resolution. Not how you treat customers. I won't be back.

That rental shop did not tell me my reservation wasn't on their books and so I ended up renting from them, not knowing that I made a reservation with a different company (Riverstar) I ended up having a missed call from an unknown number at 12 and I called it back at 5 only to realize it was Riverstar rentals asking where I was with my reservation and why I didn't show up to get me jet skis. At that moment, I had realized I didn't have a reservation for the skis I picked up. When speaking with the owner (I forget his name) I could tell he was bummed as he held the skis all day waiting for me when they easily could have gone to someone else. Instead of complaining and getting upset with me, he asked if I had fun, was understanding about it and handled it very professionally. I am looking forward to using River Star rentals next time I visit. It's not always about how company's handle things that go right, but how they handle them when they go wrong.

I called at 9:05AM and Pat picked up the phone. He was still in bed yet after 5 minutes on the phone with me (I think he can tell that I was desperate), he got us launching in the water by 10:15AM!!! Wow!!! Can you tell how much I appreciate him at this point!?! My girls and hubby had such a blast on his pontoon. Nice clean pontoon and on a hot day like today, PAT saved the day! We had such a great time. Will definitely rent from him again and as desperate as I was, his price is so CHEAP that it was even more amazing.
