The prices are at the cheaper end of the curry house price range, starting at about 5.50/6 pounds for a main course and about 1.50/2 pound for side dishes. There are higher quality curry houses in Birmingham, but these will undoubtedly tax your wallet a lot harder than Khanum, there are also cheaper curry houses but with with lower quality food. The one criticism I have is that the restaurant is a little cramped, but apart from this Khanum is a restaurant I would recommend to curry fans.

The restaurant has been refurbished and looks great, but the menu and the flavors are the same, you know, flavors that take you back in time. Sitting there going through the menu, I was transported back to times in this same place with some great friends and all the fun and laughs we had. They have secure parking in the rear that's really great as street parking is impossible in this part of town. I started with an array of appetizers, chicken pakora, sheek kebabs, lamb chops and chicken wings, all so amazing. Had a family naan, the size of a t-cloth along with balti chicken....so good. Wherever you are from in the world, if you find yourself within hours drive of this place, make the journey, trust me, you will not be disappointed. I feel hungry for more just writing this review.
