    The mold in one portion of our home that they just painted over when they "fixed" it.

    Worst rental experience ever. Our property manager failed to repair a leaking roof for almost 7 months. There was extensive mold. We notified them in July we were due to have a baby in January. They waited until we had the baby to repair the roof. Then they did some shotty mold remediation. We requested to terminate the lease early. They approved it. We went to retrieve our items before the agreed upon termination date and they changed the locks!! We called the property manager obviously upset, her name is Cathy. She literally repeatedly just hung up on us and refused to let us in. My husband gained access from a worker who gave him the code only to find that our 500 dollar was missing. Absolutely insane experience and I have no idea how this woman has a job or how this company even still exists.

    This message is so important and please do your research on companies you lease with. HavenBrook homes experience has been very unprofessional. Don't lease or buy a home from this company in Atlanta Ga, I stay in Ellenwood Ga. So if you renting from them in this area you are in a world of trouble. I have experienced rats and rodents coming in my home due to the home not being sealed up, lack of maintenance repair, electrical issues, and etc. I have pictures, videos, and documentation of the ongoing issues I have had with this home and with the property managers. We have never caused any trouble, paying our rent on time, and great tenants. HavenBrook has decided today not renew the lease with us without an 60 day notice. Now me and my family of four has less than 2 weeks to find a home. HavenBrook home property mangers never have control or information about anything that's going on. They are there just to collect rent from what I have experienced. To be honest their is no head in this company that cares enough for the company and it's tenants. There are so many bad reviews on HavenBrook homes. This company needs to be investigated and there homes need to be inspected. When I spoke with Michelle Bohannon on today she had no empathy and of course lack of information. Michelle nor anyone else from this company communicated with us on this matter. I had to call Michelle Bohannon myself just to get the news I receive today. They did not provide us a reason on why they want allow us to resign the lease. I am so hurt that this company has done my family like this especially since COVID is causing a shortage of homes. They have not worked with us on other options other than they will charge us daily for rent if we decide to go month to month. Michelle Bohannon was very short and rude . Michelle stated she can't provide me with Nicole Bowman (senior property manager) office number only her email. I am willing to answer any questions and provide any documentation on this situation. HavenBrook homes (Michelle Bohannon and Nicole Bowman) I don't appreciate you guys lack of customer service's and lack of empathy. I hope some one from this company contact me. I will be pushing this issue further because no one deserves this kind of treatment. Do not rent from HavenBrook homes in Atlanta, Georgia. This company do not handle business properly and you just can't do things as such especially with dealing with people's home. Now the home is back up for rent. There is no way that home is ready. This looks like a money scam.

    They treated me as though j was a number. Nothing more to say other than. Don't do it. Also every year the rent will increase.

    Been a tenant since 2015. The good: non-intrusive landlord, home in relatively decent shape, easy…read moremove in process. The bad: ever increasing rent, utility structure, poor response from property management. My biggest complaint is 2 fold - my rent has gone up $300 over 2 leases, and the utilities are in AH4R's name and you can't change it. You can't even find out who your providers are to shop pricing, negotiate budget plans or anything else. Plus you pay a $10/mo fee to use the service they make you use to manage the utilities. Maintenance is difficult, the vendors are shady...half the time they speak zero English so communication is impossible. The "emergency" service is a joke as well. Expect to handle after hours situations yourself. I'm almost dreading to see what the move out experience will be like. I've rented from better...but I've also rented from much worse. Update: moved out in December 2019. Move out process was easy but as expected they hit me for every little nail hole to the tune of $540 of my security. Don't even try to move out early or they will sock you for 2mos rent and keep your full security. I won't miss them a bit.

    This company has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. Maintenance issues are ignored for…read moremonths, and when they finally attempt repairs, the work is often incomplete or poorly done. It took five months to fix my shower after I moved in. I also have a work order that has been open since October 2025 that still hasn't been resolved. Now, I've been waiting two weeks just to get my kitchen sink repaired. To make matters worse, when I call for updates, the maintenance staff responds with attitude instead of professionalism. I've made multiple attempts to contact corporate management, and no one has ever followed up with me. They clearly do not value their residents, yet they expect rent to be paid on time every single month--which I have done.
