After moving into the area my Husband and I stumbled on this practice and we actually really liked it. Mind you, I HATE the dentist and anything having to do with them. Going every 6 months makes me want to hang myself. Also, I have no cavities or any other issue with my teeth so it's not like I hold a grudge. The people are very nice and we receive emails, texts and phone calls to remind us of our appointments. The waiting room and exam rooms are very clean and well lit, sometimes chilly, but our appointments are usually 7:30am so it's expected a little. They have a "live" camera that allows them to snap pictures of your mouth and it gets displayed on the monitor on front of you so you know exactly what is going on in your mouth and the can switch to previous xrays to see if anything has changed. Before your leave, your hygienist makes your next appointment also right on that screen and you are assigned the same person each time. She also schedules my husbands appointment even while he's in the room next door. Coming from a small town with no updated technology, I just found all of this fascinating (and I am in my 20's)! The only down side is in the last 4 years, I think we have only met our dentist once. I wouldn't know him if I ran into him and the last few times we have a young girl filling in as the dentist. So it is quite strange...not sure where the two Dentist's are, but the place itself is fab....for a dentist office.

I could *also* condone said inexplicable wait due to a well-priced ($57) package of bitewing x-rays, an exam in which the dentist pinpointed my bone loss and why it must have occurred (age and gingivitis), and the cleaning....hmmm....let me 'splain, Lucy. I won't lie. I've had more thorough cleanings. But this one was closer to meticulous than thoughtless. My dentist and her crew had a number of clients waiting for consultation, and I could understand the demands derived from this kind of practice. After all, they want affordable dental care for everyone. Because of this value system, you learn to notice the little factors that comprise good dental care as well. Good example: The tech who inserted the first bitewing into my mouth was very sweet and gentle when I nearly choked and asked her to remove the equipment. Outdated or not, it completed the job as she inserted the smallest bitewing and slowly helped me to become accustomed to x-rays again. With her help, we were able to progress to the dentist's x-ray overview and then her cleaning. I also asked about whitening packages and prices. After the dentist tried to inquire about the packages, a tech escorted me to the front room again. Jimmy, the most tireless representative, explained both packages (one consisting of several office visits *or* the home kit including the tray with your own tooth impressions) and the possible payment plan. I would have accepted a stab at Care Credit but I had to dump my last account in a Chapter 7 bankruptcy. It was best to bypass that road. The package featuring several office visits is $499, which is competitively priced and very impressive. I think I will opt for it. And in six months, I will return for my next exam and cleaning at only $88. Thank you, Dr. Dental. Being on disability, it's difficult to find ANY decent dental care. But you've just resolved this issue for me.

My family and I have had a very frustrating experience with this office, and I believe other patients should be aware of what happened. I currently have three outstanding balances: $664 for my husband, $664 for my daughter, and $68 for my son. This dental office is within my insurance network, so I expected procedures covered by my insurance to be billed correctly. Before my husband and daughter received their treatments, I specifically asked whether their insurance would cover the procedures. I was told that the office had contacted the insurance company and that everything had been approved. In my husband's case, he had previously received a deep cleaning, and the dentist recommended doing another one. I specifically told my husband that if his insurance did not cover the deep cleaning, he should request a regular cleaning instead. However, the dentist told us that a regular cleaning was not an option and that he had to get a deep cleaning. Patients should be informed of their options and associated costs, not pressured into procedures without clear communication about insurance coverage. I also experienced billing issues with my daughter's treatment. I had previously received bills that I paid, even though I believed her insurance should have covered the services. I did not investigate further until the balances started increasing significantly. When I contacted the front desk to ask them to verify the charges with my insurance, the staff was rude and unprofessional. I explained that I pay for insurance and simply wanted them to confirm what was covered. Instead of receiving helpful assistance, I felt dismissed. What is most frustrating is that there appears to be no clear way to speak with someone in management or a billing supervisor. You are left dealing with the front desk and told, "We will take care of it," but the issue remains unresolved. My concern is that patients are being told their insurance approved procedures, only to receive unexpected bills afterward. If the office claims to verify coverage, patients deserve accurate information before treatment--not surprises months later. I am requesting a detailed explanation of these charges and proper verification with my insurance company. Patients deserve transparency, respectful customer service, and accountability.

But that's how much I was NOT looking forward to this visit. And then Dr. Courtney Regan drilled out my old filling, drilled out a cavity underneath, drilled down my tooth all while Ellen sucked the water out of my mouth... And there was NO PAIN. None.
