After close to 20 fittings it was revealed that she wanted to remove some perfectly good partials and proceeded to so do for $600.00 more for paper clip sized, sharp metal prongs which jabbed my gums and she and one of the (owners) would not fix or refund me anything. She admitted that she did not follow the surgeon's instructions to prepare an immediate denture, decided on her own to make it a permanent one. She indicated, very much along in the awful fitting process, that she wanted to sell me implants. I am in my last decade and out of $6,600.00. Can only eat chopped, soft foods. No pizza, no pretzels, salads, hard roll sub/sandwiches, and everyone's favorite, crispy bacon. Get it? My inability to chew any food for a well balanced diet, leaves me with constant pain in my mouths soft tissue, as well as irritable digestion. Getting worse as time marches on. If all you want from dental care is teeth whitening and movie-star, close-ups they may be o.k. This place ruined the beginning of the time I have left. It cannot be reversed.

I poke to them over the phone and they were very accommodating and and got me an appointment for my cleaning that was due that was only a week away. The Hygienist Jada that did my cleaning was the best I'd ever had. She didn't make me go ouch once. I'm not sure that has ever happened. The Dentist came in and introduced himself and we talked about the possible need for a Crown on a tooth that the prev dentist told me was needed. He said that it doesn't need it right away and suggested I wait until my next cleaning and we can evaluate it again then. I did get a bill for $20 a couple weeks later though, but I happily paid it. I don't mind paying a few extra $ for a good dentist. My teeth and not having pain are far more important.

I had two dental implants placed last August, but they fell out within days. I reached out to the office immediately, only to be informed that the doctor was on vacation in Italy and that I would have to wait until his return. When I requested to see another doctor, I was told I would have to wait two weeks for the original doctor to come back. Despite making several requests to be seen sooner, I was repeatedly told that I had to wait. During this two-week period, I suffered without care, and it felt like my well-being didn't matter to them. I endured over two weeks of discomfort, including bleeding and aching gums. Eventually, after escalating my concerns to their parent company, 42 North Dental, I received a refund four months later.

Our dentist in new haven does not treat pediatric patients. We were referred to Childrens Dental Associates in Hamden. They got us in for an emergency visit within 24 hours. The staff there, especially Michelle and Dr. Chen were incredible. They put my son at ease, and explained every single thing they were doing for him. I truly feel blessed that they were able to treat my son. I will be returning here for him soon.
