I only received 1 call from them after my mom died. They told me they would call every month for 13 months. So I am very disappointed in LB Homes itself. Don't make promises you can't keep!

My son eats with my parent who lives there and also said the food is not good. They need more activities for the residents. There is only 1 planned activity each day. So mostly they sit around and stare at the TV. Not much learning or improvement is going to happen that way! The meals need to be outsourced.

Its very difficult to move a parent knowing, for his own safety, he couldn't have visitors for a while...the caregivers and leadership teams were so kind, so supportive of our family, so helpful to this "new normal". Farmstead staff really went out if their way to help our family understand complexities of Alzheimer's and take over care of Dad. Our family feels so blessed to have the Farmstead staff to lean on.The caregivers are so kind, professional, patient, respectful and genuinely nice to my Dad... it has been a comfort to know he has such good care! The facility is new, clean and so cozy, Dad had his own suite, and we were able ti make personal and cozy to help Dad feel the extended love "away" from home... Our family feels blessed to have our extended "family" at Farmstead in south Moorhead and so close and convenient for regular family and friends visits..
