Apparently, you can't play tennis on Sunday due to the Ashbridge Will. I'm not actually sure if the rule is enforced because the doors are not locked.! The courts themselves, are pretty nice. The lines are visible and there are little to no cracks on them. Though, there are only two courts. While none of the courts are shaded there is a shaded area right by the courts. In that area is picnic benches where kids and families have picnics and birthday parties. There is a pretty large playground with slides, monkey bars, a spider-web climbing structure and more! That must be fun for the kids! There is also two bathroom with water fountains. The water is solid and ice cold! There is also a large walking trail that goes around the park! Altogether, this is a great park to have fun at!

We were on our way into the city and met up with some friends for an impromptu play date. This park is really cool, with lots of modern play equipment for both younger tots and older kids. My 6 year old really enjoyed the "spider web." There is lots of parking and lots of space for the kids to play and it's right in the heart of the main line off of Montgomery Ave in Bryn Mawr. We'll definitely take the kids here again if we're in the area.

The ground is made of soft rubber material. There are a bunch of benches for parents to relax on. :) There are bathrooms right next to the playground. Around are fields and nature trails. One of the trails along the creek has a nice spot for kids to jump in and get a little wet.

2.4-mile long one way…read more Multiple entrances. Parking varies based on when you enter. Friends of Radnor trail park is a good entrance with parking and a dog park. Bathrooms available there too. Wayne art center has parking. There's also a small lot off of Conestoga road by the curve across from Brookside Ave. Trail ends at Radnor Chester road and Sugartown road. Radnor Chester is a bit dangerous of an entrance. No parking available there. Parking at the shopping center across the street from the Sugartown entrance. Multiple other entrances have parking lots throughout the middle of the trail. Entrance also available from the apts by the township building and accessible from the township driving range off of Iven ave. Trail isn't flat. Has a slight tilt toward the edges. Occasional benches. Entrance by the art center is beautiful and always decorated by local art. Nice and quiet. Beautiful nature escape in the middle of a town. Mile markers on the side. Gets pretty busy when it's nice out and on afternoons. The local high school often uses the trail for cross country practice in the fall.

We spent some time walking towards Strafford and enjoying the nice weather. This trail seemed well maintained, but was completely asphalt. Perfect for anything with wheels. There were interesting things along the way, a larger "Friends of Radnor Trail Park", with a lot of dog activity. The Wayne Art Center had some art work lining the fences of the trail. One area of the trail even had a small community garden, where the walkers could help themselves to anything that was growing. It's a nice place to be outside,but you are basically walking in an alley between back yards. Well not an alley, because an old railway was here. The trail had some interesting information about where each stop was along the trail. A great way to reclaim land from those tracks. Additionally, there were port-a-potties along the path. A nice day out, but I don't know if we would ever return.

When I visited they were packed with visitors for a Saturday soccer game. Cars lined the drive, overflowed onto the grass, everywhere. Still, I was able to get a spot in the parking lot for the playground, which was really nice and considerate of the soccer people, because I would not have been able to visit if I had to lug my toddler from a spot on the lawn of the other side of the park. This park is amazingly clean for the volume of visitors, and everyone was polite and respectful, except for one older boy on the swings at the playground who dropped the f-bomb (and then looked at me to see if I would yell at him for it, LOL). Grrrrr. The playstructure is standard, and as I've recently seen by exploring all this twp's parks, similar to the structures at the other twp playgrounds. They got some bargain on these climb-on dinosaurs because they're roaring from all corners of the township. My son loves to pat them and roar, so they're cool with me! This isn't a park for hiking or other exercise, but for the league sports, and playground, it's a-okay!

They say it's two miles of walking trails but I couldn't find much of trail at all, let alone two…read moremiles worth. I can see this as being a nice place to take kids to play on the playground or have a picnic. It looked like the back portion of the park was marshy and flooded so beware of that. The pond looked a little dirty, but there was someone fishing so maybe there's some catchable fish in there. Overall okay. Not the most thrilling park but it serves a purpose.

First, there is very little if any shade on the actual playground, so a summer visit can be very hot very quickly. Second, the park is so heavily used that lots of things have wear and tear even though it isn't that old. Also, the way the equipment is built, smaller kids and toddlers can run under it but there's no shortcut for parents, so a little kid can get far away from a parent with ease. I don't know if this is a regular occurrence, but during my latest visit on a Sunday afternoon there were a large pack of teenagers there. They were using the equipment improperly, yelling, and cursing. For a park inside a residence I would expect a little more management by the township.

The ball fields and fieldhouse have separate entrances up the hill from the administration offices. The dog park is across Ellis Ave, along Ellis Ave. The female ball fields are across Bishop Hollow, on the side opposite all of the rest of the park. Soccer fields are behind the library off of Ellis Ave. Playground is hard to find; it is in way back corner behind soccer field. There are these weird "paths" back there, like someone had extra asphalt and dumped it out as far as they could go to make a halfazz sidewalk. It's more of a liability than an asset. Don't let your kids walk there because they'll trip. (Luckily, I did not learn the hard way.) Playground is a little worn, but served its purpose. Playstructure with 3 slides, "rope bridge" which was really made of metal, corkscrew fireman pole, bouncy rides, dino figure to climb on, and swings. The walking path extends from Bishop Hollow Rd (in dog park across from Library), down Ellis Ave, across Ellis past the soccer field, up past playground, and back behind ball fields, to wrap around between them to ball field parking lot. Basketball courts are right next to Library, and are SUPER POPULAR in the summer, so get there early if you wanna turn.

Today, when I pulled up, I saw way more people than usual on the trail. I thought to myself, "I'm here early. I got time. Let's check it out." Glad I did! It was about 1.25 miles down to West Chester Pike, so roughly a 2.5 mile loop from the YMCA. Great little paved path to get a warm-up walk/jog in. It is flat and paved the whole way, so it is handicapped accessible. Lots of doggo walking and bike riding. I recommend it!

Really nice trail generally shared by walkers, leashed dogs, joggers, strollers and an occasional…read morebike! Early mornings or at dusk pretty common to see fox along the trail. It's expanding across Manoa road, ground is broken. I've only been on the trail at "peak times" and it seems I always see others nearby.
