I was nicely greeted by Chris and he helped me out with my situation. The store carries high quality men's and women's clothing and accessories, most of which are made in the good old U.S.A. Chris was attentive to my needs and I appreciated the fact he was focusing on what I needed, not trying to force sell me anything he can in the store. I ended up buying a really nice 4th of july inspired button down shirt, some hair products, soap and candles, and an amazing filson leather belt that's made in seattle! I am glad i found this spot. This is definitely a unique spot like no other in the area., and the service is top notch. Definitely not rogue valley mall type of retailer!

I'm not sure when they moved to their 2 level shop on Main street, nor do I remember what was here before. Afterall, Gayle and I have been coming to Ashland every year (except COVID) since 2006. I found a nice short and nice fitting sleeve button down shirt for 40% off and a useful Fjällräven travel pouch. There was more to consider, but that will have to wait for the next trip or closer to a future ski season. Store staff were more than helpful in leading me onward.

Maybe it's just the type of stuff I like. I ended up buying an outfit for an upcoming wedding with 2 pairs of pants, a sports jacket and shoes. Ann, the service lady, was very helpful and patient. I am awaiting the alterations. Mauricio was helpful when I followed up on the alterations. They give you quite a few coupons and rewards. I plan on supplementing my wardrobe as the local department stores seem to have a pretty limited selection. Some of the casual shirts were pretty cool.

Leela suggested a lot of items with an eye toward what I was wearing. I'm kind of like a cat about new things: at first I think, "No way," but after I've had some time to (figuratively) pace back and forth staring at something, I'll often say, "Why not?" I found some amazing pieces thanks to Leela's willingness to let me go through my process and to not give up on me, and she never ever pushed me. Her philosophy is that Outback in the Temple of Venus is a place where women can go to be heard and seen and cared for and listened to, and also they sell clothes. I felt totally comfortable with her. I was the only customer for most of the time I was there, and we chatted nonstop. I was there until closing time and she never rushed me. They have items from $10 to $300+, and sizes from XS to 3X. Nice mix of natural fibers and synthetics.
