This shop is following all Covid rules. I was looking to get a nice surprise for my wife just for being her, no special occasion, I'm just a nice guy. I was greeted by two of the nicest gals Meghan and Carli who were totally excited that I was there to buy my wife a gift. The gals took me around the store and showed me a few options, then we came to a light blue summer dress that I thought my wife would look nice in and then they helped me in selecting the correct size for my wife. They also sell glasses, necklaces , sweaters, shawls , and all the things a gal would love. The next time we are in Grants Pass we will be stopping in to check out the selection they have to offer. Rita's is a pretty nice clothing shop in Grants Pass. Seasonal offerings of leggings, sweaters, scarves and hats. Very casual and comfortable clothing. They also have jewelry and candles. Staff could be a little friendlier, but these days it seems workers are just there to pick up a paycheck, so it's best not to expect anything beyond them taking your $. I was recommended to Rita's by a friend who was wearing a beautiful dress and mentioned purchasing it there. The shop is full of lovely clothing pieces that are great for layering. Had I not been in immediate need of the three outfits that I purchased, I would have shopped elsewhere. Unfortunately the customer service is below par. The three women working in the store seemed more concerned with their ongoing conversation then with being friendly or welcoming. As I walked to the register I said "hello" to both women and neither responded, yet proceeded to check me out. The overall feel of the shop was unfriendly. I am in love with this shop and the clothes they have. The lady's that work here are sweet kind and tremendously helpful. They helped me figure out my new work style while my son sat in a near by chair reading. They gave me positive feedback and my son gave me thumbs up or down from the chair. Their clothes are the layering type that looks adorable with bralettes or tanks. Very cute but not fussy. They have everything from tanks and bralettes, to sweaters and dresses, jeans and leggings, to jewelry/hats/and scarves. For a feminine type style. Always took my many out of town visitors to Rita's . This year purchased a graduation dress and two dance dresses for my granddaughter . I was misled by a new employee who informed me I could return a $48 top that was 50% off for store credit if I wasn't happy .She absolutely refused to even give me a store credit . Not a very savvy business move to lose a local customer for $24 won't be back .Very disappointed . read more

I used to love this store. Unfortunately I will not be going back due to the customer service. An older woman working there had made me feel very unwelcome when I go in. There's girls my age (twenty's) that work there and they've been so kind every time. I'm not sure if this older woman is just an old insecure lady or not, but hopefully she is reminded that everyone is fighting their own battle and anyone who walks in that store could be going through something horrible in their personal life and being kind to everyone is more important than anything else. Such a bummer to not go back to Rita's but it's not worth feeling "down" after I go shopping. read more

Love this store! Adorable clothes! Always my go to for gifts! My problem is with customer service and I won't go back. I had to exchange something for a smaller size today. No big deal. Tags still on. Wrapped perfectly. Treated as if it was a great inconvenience. I even got the new item myself! My frustration though was that I wanted to continue shopping for an outfit as a birthday gift for a friend. I was asked multiple times if I wanted a room and I reminded her it was for a gift not for me. While I was holding the dress up next to the jewelry to find a necklace and jewelry to match. Sales woman LITERALLY grabbed the dress out of my hand and took it to a fitting room! I had to follow her over there and tell her that I needed the dress with me because I'm trying to put together an outfit as a gift! Again. There was only one other customer in the store so I'm sure not too confusing! I've had some nice younger sales girls there, but for the most part some very rude older ones. What a great local shop! Lots of selection, cute clothes and accessories, and VERY reasonably priced. I plan to shop there often. Not a lot of clothes you'll see in the big box stores (Macy's). More of a boutique atmosphere with helpful sales employees. The lighting in the dressing room was even flattering, which was a huge bonus! read more
