My biggest star was the gentlemen at the counter who attended the shop with professionalism and also sold the bar. Very nice to talk to and talked me through every hole. Good price of $25 for 18 holes with cart at twilight rate!!! Won't find that rate anywhere else except GOAT RANCHES!!

Whereas it is a nice layout in general and features good greens, most of their tee boxes (front) are in terrible shape. Most tee boxes are exceptionally small, poorly maintained, and rarely flat. If the management would devote some time to reconstruct these tee boxes RHGC could be a great course.

I was surprised at how tight and how much ungulation this course has for being out in the cornfields. Greens: 4.3/5 Fairways: 4.1/5 Tees: 4/5 This course is different from any other course in East Central Indiana. And that's a good thing because most are flat with little challenge, but Royal Hylands has it all.. multiple water hazards, abundant trees and plenty of ungulation. It's a bit quiet when it's not busy but while we were there, there were groups practicing golf swings and some people who were just there to play so it can be as fun or serious as you'd like for it to be. There's a bar inside with beers and canned beverages. You can choose from a plethora of courses to play from and the controller in each bay allows you to review swings, edit scores, manage your session however you'd like.

Each hole has two options for red = amateur and blue = more challenging. Each of the holes is about a 3 par. This was one of the "easier" courses I've experienced in my 1 year experience of the sport. The holes are much shorter than most others. Doesn't make it any easier though! Note that this is managed by the church. You park behind the church to access the course. Biblical verses are on each of the holes signage.

A large sign at the back offers a map. The first 9 are pretty open, mostly in a field, and great for beginners/warm up. Each hole has two starting spots, helpful if you have kids. The second 9 were so much fun! I think we will start there next time. Definitely in the woods, but not a ton of brush if you go off course. A few shots go along Fall Creek. The final 9 are more advanced, but we didn't make it that far. Each hole and basket is clearly marked and there are maps at the start of each hole to help you direct where to throw. It isn't always immediately obvious where the basket will be.
