Seniors can come free and use the computer room, Rummikub club, chess club, and other scheduled activities. They come together for Tai Chi too! When talking to the seniors when I visited, they seemed happy that the center would be getting some money coming in from our renting it on weekends and it was clear that they liked the Senior Center a lot.

Extremely well maintained and the staff were very pleasant. It was very inexpensive to play and all the grounds were great. The only draw back is the pro shop is very small with very few items to buy. But the grill was nice . This is one of the best college courses I have played at. Just beautiful layout. We had a blast and never felt rushed. Typically we ride but we walked that day and the course was very walkable. We were trying to play and make it to the game so they even had a place to shower and get ready for the game that was just blocks away.

First they ONLY TAKE CASH! And I can guarantee a bank is very very far away from this place! But it is very reasonable for what kind of fun you're about to have. $35 for four people, $25 for three people six or more it's six dollars a person. The lady at the entrance was very nice and you sign a short waiver. Basically you are on your own if you get hurt. Pretty standard for most places. There is tons of shaded trees and lots and lots of picnic tables with barbecue grills next to almost every table. So pack a cooler full of nonalcoholic drinks and food because they don't sell anything here. And alcohol is extremely prohibited! You get caught with alcohol you might as well kiss your afternoon goodbye. It's a family fun place. Bob is an old dude that sits at the edge of the water with the microphone and his hand and anyone who looks like they don't know what they're doing he is sure to give you some quick direction. The things they have at this place are so much fun if you're into getting your exercise through natural fun play. They have water volleyball, a variety of rope swings at different heights for different comfort levels and abilities and several other fun things. The rope swings give you a great rush, it felt great. Bob drives around on his golf cart, and he is very nice. Talks to anyone there about the place, and it's really amazing about how it all came about. Parking is $25, and I definitely think it's worth it. There is plenty of parking and grills, so you can cook your own food. There are slides, rope swings, volleyball nets in/out of the water, and a ton more to do. Looks like they had party room options but our party was located upstairs at a long picnic type table. What I did like was that they had large loungers (very comfortable) available along the wall upstairs where parents and the adult guests could sit while the party took place. The kids jumped for about an hour then came upstairs for the pizza, chicken tenders, and cake. Given that the party seemed rushed there was no time to open gifts so we helped take them to the parent's car then we all left. My main reason for not giving 5 stars is that we were all advised that prior to the party to fill out the online waiver (which is required for all of these types of parks), which we did fill out. Upon arriving, we were asked to fill out a paper waiver -- I advised the young staff member that we already filled this out online so why are we now having to fill it out again. She seemed to be dumbfounded and didn't know -- told me that she was just told to have all party guests fill out the waiver and that she thought it was because they were having system issues but wasn't sure. Frustrating but I made the hubs fill it out since I did it online previously and didn't feel like filling it out again.

The tennis courts aren't anything spectacular but they do seem to be kept in good shape. That being said, I don't use any of those facilities. I only use the rball courts. There are 3 indoor courts housed on the premises that are perfectly usable. But, to be honest they also show signs of wear and tear. The reason it gets 4 stars from me is that it's an available indoor rball court in Gainesville that doesn't require you to have student ID. Which makes it really the only game in town. On top of that, most of the other clients are friendlier older couples or families, so you won't have to worry about a hostile environment. Fees have recently increased from $35/month to $40/month for the rball membership, but I suspect that's because they've recently redone the clubhouse (which actually looks nice). This gives me hope that they actually have plans to update the rest of their facilities as well.

i am in keystone now for almost a year and when i first came to this course i was not that much of…read morea fan. the fellowship was good but the course was not so good. several p/t owners and budget constraints brought the course down to a bearly playable level. some man named tom was the landlord of the place he did not have the funds nor staff to improve much less maintain the course. he was a jerk anyway. lol. since the harvey family has taken over the improvements have been steady and noticeable. brad has deep roots in the community and has enough friends that work pro-bono to help out that the course is finally taking shape. donald ross himself would be proud and he was the original designer and is world renoun. they also have a new game out there called kick golf. if you are not a golfer you will still have a blast!!!!!!!!! keep up the good work brad, you are making a difference not just on the golf course but also within the community!!!!!

No complaints, really. I came here to both lap swim and to dive. For diving, they have two 1-meter…read moreboards and one 3-meter board. The lifeguards, though young, are very professional and good at their jobs plus prompt to answer any questions. There's ample room for lap swimming plus a children's shallow kiddie pool and another shallow area for people to just splash around if not lap swimming--plus the diving well. Some reviewers have commented on high school swim teams coming here to practice: apparently the deal is for some to come here, some to Westside, some go to UF as well. Until the School Board builds its own aquatics facility (unlikely), that will probably be how things go. (Whereas Jacksonville high schools in contrast have their own swimming pools on site in many cases.) School swim teams need places to practice, so this is a logical solution and I don't see it as impinging much on other patrons. Other reviewers (here and elsewhere) have complained some kids are loud and disrespectful: I did not experience that, yeah, kids can be loud but all I encountered were very polite. The locker rooms: the men's locker room is indeed old, probably original. I did not find it dirty however. Unlike the renovated Westside (Cherry) Pool, it actually has enough lockers to accommodate for two swim teams--or probably more. That's important if you're having meets here. I don't think Westside with its renovations provides that level of locker room space. So, as a diver and swimmer, no complaints here. Yeah, it's not a brand new nor renovated facility but clean and well-run: it meets my criteria certainly.
