I had a highly disappointing experience at this office and will not be returning. I explicitly told the hygienist that I only wanted a basic teeth cleaning. Instead, the cleaning itself felt completely rushed, skipped essential steps like flossing, and I was never once offered a rinse. To make matters worse, the dentist came in for literally two seconds just to look in my mouth, and I was hit with a $225 bill. On top of the sub-par clinical care, the front office staff was incredibly rude and unprofessional. It feels like this practice prioritizes rushing through patients and maximizing bills rather than delivering quality, thorough patient care. I am not the easiest patient. I have been to a lot of dentists and have been less than satisfied. I've had dentists push extra unnecessary dental work. I think I have a high threshold for pain, but have had experiences where the hygienist is hurting me and had no regard for my feelings. I've had work done that I was not happy with. I've had experiences with dentists where they cancel on you short notice, but charge you when you cancel an un-confirmed appointment. I've had experiences with misrepresentation on the billing and more. I haven't had any of these bad experiences at Hawthorne Dental Associates and I've been going here for several years now. Dr. Rosenson and the staff are easily the best dentist office that I've dealt with. They are always very professional, accommodating and courteous. I appreciate that they always do their best to schedule me as soon as possible. The x-rays and cleanings are always quick and painless. I especially appreciate the thoroughness and gentleness. Dr. Rosenson has always been very personable and provides good dental advice. I have not been disappointed with any of the work I have had done. I will continue to be a patient at Hawthorne Dental Associates and recommend them to anybody who is looking for a dentist in the area. read more

I love this place!! For years I went to where my parents sent me. Then in my early 20s, I floated around and bounced around to different dentists but was never happy. Thankfully, I ended up here. I needed a local dentist for an emergency appointment due to horrible tooth pain. So thankful because as a result of that visit at this office, they became my full time dentist. I love how ultra clean this office is. Its absolutely beautiful. I love also how I am always taken for my appointment on time. The staff is courtesy, professional and kind. My wife had been a patient of Dr.Rosenson for years and we always referred patients to him, he even repaired a front cracked tooth for my young son, so up until then things were fine, however he had my young daughter come in and instead of fixing her cavity when she was calm and all smiles in his chair, he sent us to a "strip mall dental office, called great expressions". Big Mistake and when we had a really bad experience with this sub par office, we called Dr. rosenson's office to kindly let them know not to refer people to such a place as this makes him look bad. My wife spoke to Liz who was less than helpful and was nasty to my wife, she just kept saying Dr.Rosenson doesn't treat children, he surely treated my young son as he does other children, it's all over Facebook, so that was back in January, I called his office today and Liz was giving me a run around and would not relay a message to Dr Rosenson. I've been a patient here for a few years, not sure why I took so long to write this review! The entire experience here is excellent. The people at the front desk are very sweet and welcoming. The hygienists are great, too! I had a bad experience at a previous office, so my anxiety was high. The hygienist took her time and carefully cleaned my teeth. There was no pain associated with this visit. I've even referred my grandmother to this office. She went, and was as impressed as I was. The wait time is never long! If you have a 3pm appointment, you won't be left waiting for more than 10 minutes. If you get nervous or anxious during dental visits, this is the place for you. The entire staff at Dr. Rosenson's Hawthorne Dental Associates office are excellent...kind, courteous, patient and very astute on insurance. Some dental offices leave you uninformed as to your coverage limits, etc...not so at HDA. The front office personnel at HDA are on top of their game. When you walk into the office you are greeted by the warm and very friendly staff at the desk. After going to Dr.Rosenson for over 8 + years I feel like they are all family. Recently, I was experiencing severe pain and I called and they told me to come right in. When I got there I did not have to wait,he saw me right away. Xrays were done immediately and next thing you know I am getting a root canal. He gave me enough novacane until I was comfortable enough to start the procedure. He is the best dentist in New Jersey. He is a very caring and knowledgeable dentist. Everytime I get the chance I recommend this office to everyone. I trusted him as my childrens dentist -my kids never went to a pediatric dentist.
