I have to say I am very happy with my tooth implants done by him. I had the first one done 5 years ago and the second one done by this dentist 6 months ago. Haven't experienced any problems at all with the implants also he was almost 20% cheaper price compared to the other 2 dentists I've checked with in my neighborhood and they are not even NYU dentists. I also had two roof canals and teeth straightening trays done by him and he checked and made sure the trays are fitted properly each time. My daughter had teeth braces done two years ago from him and she is happy with her teeth no more ugly crooked teeth. Now my son also needs teeth braces and the price he offers is cheaper than the other dentists offered me. So of course I am going back to him. Money is tight in this economy and I don't have too much to spend. Luckily Dr.Miranda is willing to negotiate to give affordable price. The words "root canal" stirs a lot of emotions…read more Anxiety and fear are two things that come to mind for most people. But fortunately, Dr. Kellert really lived up to his sterling reputation. Recently one of my old fillings broke off and after my regular dentist finished the replacement filling I spent the next two weeks slowly spiraling into a daily cycle of agonizing pain. Turns out I had all the classic symptoms of pulpitis (e.g. sharp unbearable pain when something hot/cold touched my damaged tooth) and I needed relief fast. I was recommended to see Dr. Kellert at the soonest and I was fortunate enough to get a last minute appointment. Upon arriving, the professional and friendly staff had me in the chair quickly and Dr. Kellert quickly diagnosed (e.g. confirmed) my issue and the need to have a root canal procedure. Of course I had reservations since my last root canal with another dentist was by far the most painful experience of my life (it hurt more than when I broke my wrist and several other bones in my body). Thankfully Dr. Kellert was extremely mindful of this and quickly had me numbed to a comfortable level. The procedure went by very quickly and I was pain free the entire time, which is worth noting since I don't usually react much to novocaine. He was very gentle and did a fantastic job. I was extremely surprised at how smoothly the process went. I strongly recommend Dr. Kellert to anyone who is looking for a dentist who can take care of their root canal issues in the most professional and non-stressful way.

You can point the finger back at the patient, their dental care and their previous dentist but I'm guessing most people would be interested to know that all 3 of us had work done by you that had to be redone within those 3 years. You call it unprofessional for the dentist to call out? I find it refreshing that a dentist wouldn't try to overlook work done by another dentist. Your description of how you handle your phobic patients and how things are great just wasn't my experience. I had a terrible experience with you, each of my visits I felt like you didn't listen and I was a pain. I was by the way as I noted in my original review, I just don't need to be made to feel that way. My last visit I asked for another shot to numb me and you huffed and puffed, gave me a shot and disappeared to treat someone else, leaving me sitting there. I found you to be not at all patient friendly, just my opinion.
