This dealership doesn't want to sell vehicles. Demo 2025 Ford Explorer with 3700 miles. Funny how other dealers are selling leftover vehicles at $11,000 off MSRP. They only want to knock off $6000 incentive off MSRP. They have a 2024 Ford edge demo that is just sitting on the lot for 2+ years and now I see why. It will rot on the lot along with the 2025 demo Ford Explorer. I tried to negotiate but I'll bring my business somewhere else. The original salesperson we spoke to was nice, showed us around the car we were interested in, and was honest about the price. This wasn't the right car for us, and those things happen. Then the owner came out of the back and started the high-pressure sales techniques, hovering over us while we were seated and generally trying to talk us into buying a lesser car "that we could afford." I've been to and dealt with well over 40 dealerships in my lifetime. Anyone who knows me knows I don't like salesman or dealerships. As we all know they tend to be sleazy and cut costs wherever they can. However, I can say without a doubt that Hayes Ford blows every other dealership out of the water. Absolutely best experience I've ever had with a salesman and or dealership. One, they gave me way more for my trade in, significantly more than other dealerships offered. Two, they are a smaller operation but still maintain professionalism while being down to earth. I worked with a salesman Jesse who was straightforward, upfront, honest, professional and genuine throughout the entire process. I would recommend anyone in the New England area to make the drive to work with them. I promise, a days worth of driving to go there is better than dealing with any other dealership. I will 100% go there again and for any and all servicing that I cannot do myself. Lastly, they've been around for decades so they definitely have a reputation to maintain. Therefore, you know they won't sell a crappy product or screw over a customer. I highly recommend this business and if you can ask for Jesse (salesman). If flew in from Pennsylvania because they were the only dealership that had the vehicle I wanted. They sent a driver to pick me up at the Burlington airport, who had to wait over 4 hours for me because of flight problems. When I arrived at the dealership, I was greeted with a very friendly welcome. My vehicle was ready for me when I arrived.
