Margaret is professional, listened to our wishes and was able to take amazing photos while barely noticing her presence which was important to us with only having 9 guests! We were undecided on a place to take bride and groom photos after our ceremony. Margaret went out of her way and to help us find the perfect spot with an amazing view! On our wedding day Margaret arrived early and got right to work finding a perfect spot to photograph my dress! I sent Margaret a link to photos I liked and I could tell she paid close attention to all of them. Come wedding day, I found her directing us effortlessly in those poses and others that made us feel like models! My mom is also into photography and couldn't help but take pictures of us throughout the day. Margaret did not mind at all and actually got some really fun pictures of my mom taking pictures of the group. Two story, lofted indoor space with full bar, plus outdoor porches, patio, and ceremony-ready gazebo. The managers help plan events but hosts may DIY the meetinghouse decor as early as the night before! I attended a summer wedding here. Staff provided coordinating and bartenders but every other vendor was hired by the bride and groom. They gave us space to prep and store appetizers, which was clutch. Josiah's Meetinghouse is along a major route, which makes it easy to find but adds traffic sounds to ceremonies outside. Cranking the music helped our party drown it out. As long as they're not busy, they're pretty generous with time.

We just attended a weekend Wedding at Josiah's. The Venue itself is nice enough but there are a few…read morenegatives. First; Parking. Be prepared for a hike. An uphill one. Second; Parking Lot Lighting. It's an obstacle course out there in the dark. Third; terrible acoustics. A lot of this is probably on the band but; the sound level and quality were agonizing, at times. Fourth; Josiah's Management has made a decision that it's a good idea to shoehorn advertising into every opportunity on the Dance Floor. Neon Lights continuously flash their logo across the wedding guests. The epitome of tackiness and tastelessness. I've never seen anything like it. I'm not sure if it shows up in photos but; it sure was an eyesore in person. Overall, an enjoyable night, as Weddings usually are but; I sure wouldn't recommend Josiah's Meetinghouse. Especially for an evening affair with mixed age attendees.

But we have not heard from Samantha Allen since, despite multiple attempt to reach her by phone, text message, and email. We paid in full prior to our wedding in September 2015 (18 months ago). It seems this is not an isolated incident, either. We have been in touch with other people who told us of a similar experience. Despite actively maintaining a Facebook business page, Samantha Allen Photography does not appear as a registered business in New Hampshire or Massachusetts.
