It can also be rented, very affordably for weddings and parties. It's in an easy to find location right off of Exit 3 on 93 and has plenty of parking. You could fit 200 people between the two rooms quite easily, one drawback is the small kitchen and bathrooms downstairs, but you should certainly look at this awesome and historical building for your next event in the area. It will be hard to be disappointed.

The managers help plan events but hosts may DIY the meetinghouse decor as early as the night before! I attended a summer wedding here. Staff provided coordinating and bartenders but every other vendor was hired by the bride and groom. They gave us space to prep and store appetizers, which was clutch. Josiah's Meetinghouse is along a major route, which makes it easy to find but adds traffic sounds to ceremonies outside. Cranking the music helped our party drown it out. As long as they're not busy, they're pretty generous with time.

Second; Parking Lot Lighting. It's an obstacle course out there in the dark. Third; terrible acoustics. A lot of this is probably on the band but; the sound level and quality were agonizing, at times. Fourth; Josiah's Management has made a decision that it's a good idea to shoehorn advertising into every opportunity on the Dance Floor. Neon Lights continuously flash their logo across the wedding guests. The epitome of tackiness and tastelessness. I've never seen anything like it. I'm not sure if it shows up in photos but; it sure was an eyesore in person. Overall, an enjoyable night, as Weddings usually are but; I sure wouldn't recommend Josiah's Meetinghouse. Especially for an evening affair with mixed age attendees.

Both times was buffet service and people brought their plates up. Bar was full service and the bartender was quick and efficient. I do think it's a little pricey for a function, but all things considered, if you can afford it then it's a no brainer. I've never had any hiccups with events at this venue. Both were attentive, friendly, and helpful. Diane, the hostess, greeted us with the biggest smile and was so welcoming. She walked us to our seats and even offered to move our table so we could have the best view. We closed the place down, and we decided last minute to get a gift card for friends we knew would love the experience. She restarted the POS system to do this for us, even though it was late, she could have asked us to come back another day. Patti was so helpful with food and drink selections. She checked on us often but was not intrusive. Even the younger staff moving tables at the end of the night smiled a lot and made conversation with us. There was an acoustic guitarist playing in the background at just the perfect volume. It enhanced the experience. Some places we've been the music has been obnoxiously loud. All of the services advised through the venue were great too! The DJ was fun, the music continuous. The Justice of the Peace performed a warm and loving ceremony. The florist- Ford's flowers, were helpful and very! talented. Gibbons photography were fun and very helpful to get the best shots as possible The yards look beautiful as they were groomed that morning. The food was fabulous, served efficiently and plates picked up at exactly the right times. The bartenders were so friendly and nice! I highly recommend anyone consider a wedding at this venue. And use their vendors!

I also loved that the wedding guests were allowed to roam the castle and take pictures inside. This place really gave that elegant and vintage look that the bride was looking for. The person in charge of the castle was so friendly and kept walking around making sure everyone was comfortable and all their needs were being met. Where do i start?! DiBurros from the very beginning was the best decision my husband and I made…read more Bob and Dave were wonderful. They helped out where ever they could. They kept in contact in timely manners and they worked with us with prices. The day of was such a blur but Bob had complete control over everything! Everything ran smoothly and Bob did everything he could to keep me calm. I heard that Dave did everything he could to keep my husband calm and collect. The ceremony was set up perfectly and beautifully. During cocktail hour our servers Stephanie and I believe Melissa was wonderful. they made sure my wedding party had food and drinks. Stephanie from the beginning was simply amazing! She had tissue on hand! She did everything she could to make that day amazing. The reception was even better. The food!!! O the food! The chicken was to die for! The tenderloin was wonderful. We had family style so everyone stuffed their faces! haha. Stephanie made sure that my husband and I eat our meals before anything! I was nervous before hand that we wouldn't be able to do so. My champagne glass was always full! The venue was absolutely beautiful! I don't think I can do enough praising! The did such a phenomenal job throughout the planning, rehearsal, and wedding. I didn't have to worry about anything but showing up. The food was GREAT. All my guests complimented on what a nice wedding I had- fun, yummy, and well put together!! Oh and the bar was serving up some good drinks i heard!!! THANK YOU DIBURROS!
