From beginning to the end of my pregnancy. Dr. Hayton did an amazing job with my C-Section. Dr. Locasio was super supportive. I've personally never experienced such long wait times, maybe once, but they were incredibly busy that day. If you have questions, make sure to ask and get answers. Overall really enjoyed this office and team.

I cannot recommend this practice less, especially now that I've gone through a miscarriage under…read moretheir care. Since I established care there, nothing happened unless I called, followed up, or pushed for it myself. I spent more time Googling information than getting answers from a real doctor. The office consistently struggled with basic communication and follow-through. I found myself repeatedly calling to get lab work ordered, following up on approvals, asking about results, questioning incorrect information, and making sure the next step actually happened. Communication issues started before I got pregnant and only got worse once I was pregnant. The week of my positive pregnancy test, I had to call multiple times just to get serial hCG blood tests ordered. When the results came back, they were uploaded to my portal, but no one reviewed them with me or explained what they meant. I spent more time researching my own results than talking to my OB/GYN office. At my first ultrasound, my baby's heart rate was low. No one mentioned it or explained what it could mean. No follow up ultrasound was scheduled. They instead scheduled my first OB appointment was scheduled for 2 weeks later. That appointment was canceled the day before. Since it had already been two weeks since my first ultrasound, I requested an ultrasound in the interim. Even that took several phone calls. After I kept following up, it was finally sent to the on-call doctor for approval. Then I had to call again to find out if it had actually been approved because no one contacted me. I got the ultrasound scheduled, but no appointment was set up to go over the results. That ultrasound showed there was no longer a heartbeat and the baby had stopped growing right after the last ultrasound, which I would've needed to wait another week to find out. After we were given the news, my husband and I were put in an exam room while staff tried to find someone who could come talk to us. Dr. Thompson handled the delivery of the news terribly and repeatedly asked me questions about a previous D&C and if Dr. Locascio had ordered bloodwork because the baby had a heartbeat. My husband and I were sobbing and I told her immediately that we just wanted to schedule a D&C and get out of the office. The earliest D&C they offered was 10 days later. No one discussed other options or suggested I seek care elsewhere if I wasn't comfortable waiting. I ended up going to Planned Parenthood because I didn't want to wait that long or start miscarrying on my own. When I called to schedule the recommended one-week follow-up, I was told to bring my Planned Parenthood paperwork or my appointment would be canceled. Given everything that had happened, that conversation felt incredibly rude and impersonal. When I said they gave me no paperwork, she said I'd have to figure it out. It ended up being in MyChart, which I'm sure the practice could've tried to access. My entire pregnancy was made more stressful by this office. At every stage, I had to ask, call back, follow up, or push for something that should have happened without me chasing it. Whether it was getting lab work ordered, understanding results, correcting misinformation, getting an ultrasound approved, or arranging care after my miscarriage, I never felt like my care was being managed by the office. The lack of empathy made everything even harder. Many of my interactions felt rushed, dismissive, or simply uncaring. I wasn't expecting anyone to change the outcome of my pregnancy. I did expect basic kindness. Not once did someone say "I'm sorry you're going through this," even Dr. Thompson when she told us the heartbeat was gone. Instead, most conversations felt like business transactions. I am so appalled at how I was treated by the people you are supposed to trust. This office does not care about you or your pregnancy. Patients deserve clear communication, timely follow-up, accurate information, and compassion. Temecula Valley OB did none of those things. I would not wish that treatment on anyone.

I will update my review as time goes on but I want to share my experience STARTING care here... When I first found out I was pregnant, I was overseas on my honeymoon. When we got back, I immediately went to calling around to find care. I was about 6 1/2 weeks at this time 1. My primary recommended care with a certain office- they were fully booked...couldn't help me. This was after about a week of waiting for them to get back to me with a response ** 2. A coworker recommended a specific doctor that was within network, I called and managed to get an appointment. The day before my appointment they call me to tell me they changed how they bill and are out of network now. My appointment was ultimately cancelled... All I wanted was to hear my baby's heartbeat and to know if everything was ok so far. I started crying while frantically searching for the next office to contact. When I called Las Brisas... the receptionist was so patient letting me get through my tears explaining my struggle and how I JUST had an appointment for the next day that was canceled. She scheduled me approx same time same day and reassured me I was in network and that Dr Chiodi was indeed accepting new patients. I was expecting another rejection and instead she made it sound easy peasy. I'm due for my 16 week check up soon and am just relieved I have care with a clinic that seems to put people first. I understand reviews seemed mixed but I have received a different experience so far and I look forward to welcoming my baby boy into this world.

UPDATE: FIND ANOTHER OB IF YOU ARENT PREGNANT & TRYING…read more They have moved to a different location. Prior to that I was told I needed a new auth & they would request it on my behalf. Never heard from them but I figured it was lost in the move so I contacted my doctor after abt 3-4 months of waiting (I'm very patient) and I got a new auth because I had a positive experience with the NP (Carmen) I had so much so I gave Dr. Shehata kudos too thinking she must've trained her well. Well I got the auth and for my appointment I showed up 30 mins early. Giving myself and hour and a half to be in office to pick up my kid on time. My appointment came and went and I was still waiting. They got me in a room 30 mins after my appointment time. I'm very low maintenance so I told Dr. Shehata what I know works for my PCOS etc. she co-signed. My appt was abt 5 mins but not an issue. The issue is she wrote my visit note saying we discussed so many things and that I agreed to pay out of pocket and we never discussed any of what was noted. She gave me a plan for lab work and the order wasn't given to me (since I had to go fast due to them running late) nor did they send it to the lab. A time sensitive lab. I had to call and get the order myself but even that was a fight at first. Then whenever you send a message to the MA and they call you back they call like you're in the way and everything is a rush. I called and asked a question abt the medication they put me on and flat out was told "It's not working you need to call your primary to see a fertility specialists" and they ghosted me afterwards. Literally. Maybe their focal point is aesthetics now or maybe it's because I'm not currently pregnant but these ppl did not want to take care of me at all. They made me feel like I was bothering them and a burden every time I needed something. You cannot have a provider you can't reach when you need things ordered/done esp time sensitive like fertility. I have a new OB and it's a breath of fresh air. Maybe my experience would've been good had I still been able to see the NP they had but I expected so much from Dr. Shehata. The way they treated me is a disservice to all PCOS patients. The doctor I have now went through the same process I explained worked for conceiving my son, confirmed I'm responding to medication and that I do NOT need to see a fertility specialist.

My journey after a complicated hysterectomy was incredibly challenging, both emotionally and physically. Finding Dr. Shehata was truly a turning point and the answer to my prayers. While my surgeon at UCSD was fantastic, I needed someone with expertise in the hormonal aftermath. Dr. Shehata was exactly who I needed. From my first appointment, her kindness, patience, and extensive knowledge were evident. She listened intently to my concerns about surgical menopause and together we developed a plan that has significantly improved my quality of life. I especially appreciate her understanding of hormone therapy, including bioidentical options, which made a huge difference for me when traditional estrogen didn't work.I was so pleased to discover the range of services offered beyond standard OB/GYN care, including specialized hormone therapy (including bioidentical options, which was a game-changer for me after struggling with traditional estrogen), hormone testing, and even aesthetic services for pelvic floor and sexual function. It's also wonderful that her practice offers a variety of services, making it a convenient "one-stop shop" for all your ob/gyno needs. I've been so impressed with Dr. Shehata's care that I've enthusiastically recommended her to many others, all of whom have been equally delighted. If you're seeking an exceptional OB/GYN for routine needs or desperately need someone to help you feel like yourself again, Dr. Shehata won't disappoint. She truly cares and has the expertise to help with both basic and complex needs, especially hormone-related issues. Her recent expansion is a testament to her dedication to her patients. She's a true diamond and a source of immense hope! I am eternally grateful for her and her amazing staff. "Dr. Shehata was a breath of fresh air - kind, patient, and extremely knowledgeable"

Um NO, I know what she had, I was there when she had her emergency hysterectomy. That just did not sit well with me. She wasn't my mother's Dr, she doesn't know the specifics but she ASSUMED. She also suggested that I only come in for an exam every 3-5 years. I'm not surprised seeing these other comments about her. If you choose to go here maybe choose on of the other providers.

I am currently seeing this office because I am pregnant and giving birth soon. All of the doctors care deeply, and so do the nurses and the front staff. My first pregnancy with them, I had high bp and had to go to the hospital at 32 1/2 weeks- stayed there until 34 weeks and had to be induced. We had our baby girl early and she was in the NICU for 11 days (shout out to Radys- they are heaven sent as well!!!). Anywaysssss- I mainly see Dr. Todd but would see the other doctors and midwives as well- including Dr. Neil, and the midwives Alyssa, Kari, and Tonya (she delivered the last bat I had!). They are attentive, kind, professional, and they also like to make you feel less stressed by being goofy and joking around a little. It really does help- at least someone like me who needs to chill out. Just recently I had an appointment where I thought I I was going to have to go to the hospital again like last time. I was seeing Dr. Neal that day and he was very reassuring, relaxed, and he told me what next steps to take, and that I was going to be fine. Turns out I didn't need to go to the hospital, I'm still very healthy and so is baby, and we are pushing almost 36 weeks now! That day I had some PTSD and left crying hysterically because of past trauma (not because of them), and when I returned, they were so kind and loving and wanting to make sure I was okay. I was so embarrassed about it, but they were understanding and helped me. :) i wanted to thank Dr. Neal- if he hadn't been how he was that day, I would have gone home so stressed! I love this office, and if weren't for how they handle things and treat patients, my anxiety would be so so bad. I'm very thankful for them. Pregnancy can be SO HARD AND SCARY, but they help take the stress off and they know what they're doing and how to take care of you. They take it seriously while also making sure that momma is fine in the process :)
