After they left I inquired about a king size bed foundation for our new bed set. The sales person told me they were happy to have the product delivered the next day and I happily paid the $400.00 tab (I guess bed foundations are a big thing nowadays). Late that evening I get a phone call from the sales person saying they are actually out of the bed foundation and were unable to keep their commitment of delivery the next day. As I had no intention of sleeping on the floor I went back the next morning and cancelled the order with the store manager, Susie. I received an email about 30 minutes later stating they had begun the "process" of refunding me. IKEA had the bed foundations in stock and cost less than half the amount these jokers charge. I was up and running about 90 minutes after departing this location. Low and behold, late last evening, SEVEN days later, I receive yet another call from Brianna with Mattress Firm, in Orlando this time, asking me if I still want the order as they just now have the product back in stock. Keep in mind, I cancelled and received confirmation SEVEN days ago. At this point I firmly believe (pun intended) they have no intention of refunding me. My advice is to run, not walk. They are terribly disorganized, and incapable of true customer support. My next stop; my attorney and my bank...

"No problem" was the assurance I received and the driver the next day told me that it would be delivered between 3 and 6. By the time that 6:30 rolled around and we were ready to head out for dinner that night I called back to find that it would be much later that night. I reminded them that if they couldn't get there on time then I would be forced to order from Mattress Firm down the street. Getting the bed in time for my wife was my only condition. Bottom line, they couldn't give me any guarantees and I ordered another one of the same beds from the competitor. READ THE FINE PRINT. They claim a 20% cancellation fee only. I found this out only after I went to the store the next day and only after they sent me to their customer service department in Orlando. The Roosevelt store claims that they "can't process credits" and the customer service department does their best to avoid you. It's obvious that this is one of their tactics for making money as in this case the cancellation fee is nearly $1000!

(I had almost purchased one for $299 at a store on Normandy, which by the way the sales lady there suggested this store when I told her I was a single, divorced mother with two teenagers, living on my paycheck alone, so I really needed a lower price). I had found nothing else to even think I wanted or could afford. (Delivery price was a little high, $50) but I live 25/30 minutes away from store, so that added a small fee. I was in the parking lot when they loaded it in their truck, not more than 5 minutes after I purchased it! 3 men delivered it and set it up and actually help remove the broken dresser out to the street too! Now --- that was service!! The piece looks real good in his room. Now, if he can only keep his clothes in it, and not on the floor, and not over-stuff the drawers like the dresser I had to replace, he should be able to have a solid piece of furniture for many years. I will be back, to look over all the other pieces, There were brand new pieces, like the one I bought and gently used pieces too.

We will probably be back here for the 3rd time once we are ready for the bedroom set since their prices seemed most reasonable.

We just moved from Cali to Jacksonville, and had got rid of all our furniture. After a very…read morestressful 5 day drive, arriving to a rented home and discovering mold, finding a new place amid virus panic and moving again, we needed something to sit on. Found this store open, unexpectedly. We were helped by Jackie who showed us into the back room with clearance items etc.. We saw a couch that she said had been returned - Jackie said it was $1100. Large, 3 pieces which we didn't need, and slightly more than our budget. We explained our journey and that we need all kinds of furniture, asked if we could remove the 3rd piece and could they do better on the price. Jackie said the boss was '... a Christian man' and would work with us so she'd talk to him, but she was sure the 3rd piece wouldn't be an issue. We discussed delivery - $59. She said she'd take my info, she talked to her 'co-worker' and approached us stating that the 3rd piece HAD to be sold with the rest but the co-worker said she'd '... take 40% off each item, which will bring it down significantly'. I said 'so what's the price?'. She told me to call the next morning and she would have the figures, but she was thinking around $700-$800. She said, twice, that she'd put a 'sold' sticker on it so no-one would sell it. I called 11:25am - vm full. I texted. She called back within 20 minutes and said the price was $1100. Confused. Wasn't that the price anyway? She said she didn't get it either and would talk to her boss and get back to us. I told her to include the ottoman and reminded her we'd be buying other stuff too. By noon the next day we still hadn't heard from her, so I texted. It felt like she didn't care about selling anything. An hour and half later she texted back she would check on the total. 5 minutes later: 'I'm sorry but my co-worker sold it'. Wow. I called the store, asked for the GM, and was told he would call me back. Nope. Two days later I texted Jackie and told her to have her GM call me. I wanted to give him an opportunity to make it right and earn our business. She called me immediately asking if she did something wrong! I told her this was terrible business, she said 'I didn't think u would have agreed on the price'. (We had actually decided if it was $1100 we would buy it anyway as stores were closing due to the virus and we're sitting on pillows on the floor.) She argued a bit and eventually said she would have her GM call me. Five days later - no call. What an abismal way to treat new customers, who were ready do spend a good amount of money there replacing a house full of furniture!
