HB Magazine is a true local gem! The magazine is visually attractive, entertaining and informative. My company has advertised in the magazine for several years, and I really think that it's money well spent. Jody, the editor and publisher of HB Magazine, is someone who really seems to care about the growth of the businesses in our community, and especially the ones who advertise with her. This publication is nothing but a front to get free coupons and gift certificates for the "sales people". In September 2010 our company advertised with this publication and gave them "coupons" that we were told would be used for networking and to drive more business to our business. Sounds like a great deal right!?! The only person to EVER use the "coupons" was our sales person, Marlo, who would come in and spend EXACTLY the amount of the "coupon". Oh, and she was still trying to use them in 2012 even though the coupons expired 12/31/10... And then she proceeded to tell me that having a coupon expire is illegal. Ummm... Helloooooo- Yes there are restrictions on Gift Certificates, but this was a coupon- isn't that sort of the point of a coupon? Spend your hard earned advertising dollars elsewhere... this place is a sham. read more
