I…read morehave been getting my hair professionally coloured for in excess of 20 years and have never once felt the need to post a review about my experiences which have always been extremely satisfactory . I attended for an appointment at The Professionals Studio on the 23 rd February 2013 .I requested the colour build up to be stripped out and for a uniform brown to be put in . Instead the hairdresser coloured my entire hair black which looked absolutely awful and was against the wishes I expressed when I first made the appointment. The hairdressers do not appear to take the time to communicate effectively with their clients about what their wishes are leading to costly mistakes ( in my case a wasted £ 85 ).When I then called to book another appointment to get the wrong colour stripped out I had the misfortune of meeting the owner of the establishment who was extremely defensive , hostile , rude and defamatory . The most unpleasant woman who doesn't even allow the client the basic courtesy of completing a single sentence . If you want a professional service go elsewhere . If you want good customer service go elsewhere .

I find that hair cuts are reasonably priced, and I am always very happy with the service I receive. Staff have always been very friendly and helpful, in particular the owner who takes on a hands-on role. Situated in the centre of Codsall, handy for local bus routes into Wolverhampton. Car parking is available for those that need it. Prices are cheaper than those you find in Wolverhampton city centre, and I would definitely recommend it.

Upon which ruinous thought she embarks on adventures perilous and sundry to turn her auburn tresses into a bleached, straw-like substance, and thus, have more fun. The worst bit is when said brunette thinks to herself, "I shall be a trooper and save the money by piling harmful amounts of bleach upon my head." The result is always, we learn, closer to the colours orange or neon yellow. Now, some ladies (read: many, many ladies who bleach their hair blonde) are fine to walk around with neon yellow, burnt gold hair. But those with a lick of sense and some desire to look more human than scarecrow, will eventually seek out a professional hairdresser. Enter Theo Georgio, stage right. Cue wailing and gnashing of former auburn-tressed maiden as she begs the kind sirs at Theo Georgio to please, please give her "human coloured hair". After literally three hours of testing, scientific deduction and sweat-inducing mathematical calculation, the fine chaps at TG declared a solution to the problem. It would take a further three hours and cost £120. Gulping back tears, I (in case you hadn't clued in, I was the fair maiden with burnt orange hair) acquiesced, shelled over said cash, and settled back with my cappucino to discuss life with my wonderful hairdresser, Anthony. Afterward, my hair looked AMAZING. It looked good enough to eat, soft, supple and blonde. Most importantly, it looked like human hair, not donkey's hair. Gone was the straw bale, and here was shiny radiance I thought Pantene manufactured with a spotlight. Theo Georgio continued to save my hair until, tired of the cost and the fact that blondes (at least this one) weren't turning out to have more fun, but merely to spend more time in the hairdressers, I gave up the idea and returned to my roots (pun fully intended). But this is the best hairdressing experience I've ever had outside of L.A. I felt like a million quid, and was treated exceptionally well, and my hair attended to as if it were rare beluga caviar. You know what I mean. I defy you to get a better hair treatment and better customer service at a hair salon than Theo Georgio.

Theo georgio is a local hairdressers to me. I have been there twice and every time I have come back…read moredisappointed in what I have received. The first time I went to theo georgio was because my old hairdressers dye never used to stay in my hair which meant I had to keep returning and paying more and more money. I asked the hair dresser for a light brown colour on my hair verging on blonde. 2 hours later I had copper hair (that seemed ginger to me) and a 130 pound bill. The second time I visited theo georgio was for my step-mums wedding. I asked the lady styling my hair for long flowing curls that made my hair look long with small plats on either side of my hair and minimal product used. 20 minutes later I had big chunky curls coated in product with two big plats on either side of my head which were wonky. The third and last time I went to theo georgio was yesterday. The reason why I came back after all of that disappointment was that I had a 20 pound gift voucher from Christmas. I thought it would be cheaper to use the voucher. I had looked at the prices online and I was told for a toner would be 20 pound and a head of highlights would be 65 pound. Once again I asked the lady doing my hair to make it light brown/dark blonde and I showed her numerous photos of what I wanted. She then went to ask me if I wanted streaks in my hair or a full colour throughout to which I answered full colour throughout. 3 hours later and I ended up with streaky hair completely different to what I wanted. I got my 85 pound I was expecting to pay out and was astonished when I was told it was going to cost me 120 pound and I haven't even got what I wanted. According to the hairdresser my highlights were 65 pound, my toner was 30 (10 pound more than said on the website) and an additional 20 pound just to have my hair dried and straightened (which was rushed and poor) I wasn't warned that it would cost this much money by the hairdresser or the website. Every time I have been to the hairdressers I have felt rushed and unwelcome. I would not recommend it as you never get what you are asked for and if you explain you are disappointed they will not make any effort to help you.

My mum introduced me to Karen when I was looking for a wedding make up artist and I'm very glad she…read moredid. Before the day Karen did a free make up trial, which was great. We were able to talk about what I wanted and play around with colours. Karen was lovely and really put me at ease. Karen also did my nails and an eyebrow wax (ouch) the day before the wedding. My nails were beautiful and she completely understood my love of glitter. On the wedding morning Karen did mine, my sisters and my mums make up in less than two hours (including my eyelash extensions). Very helpful and professional.
