They were easily contactable and the level of service they gave my stressed daughter (I was too sick to care at the time) was fantastic. The only negative was after they gave us flights to choose to come home on, we then found out, as my daughter was an adult, she should have kept traveling and the insurance would only cover my flight home. That did make for a stressful time as we then had to find and pay for the cheapest flights home in case we weren't reimbursed for her. All's well that ends well and they did cover her flight after a letter from the doctor and a letter from me. If you do need to get a doctors certificate, make sure you ask them what it should contain ie when sick, what wrong, medication/treatment given, instructions (unable to travel for two days...) etc with doctors full name address and an official stamp if possible - this would be the same for any policy with any company. They also covered the repair for a cracked iphone screen after a treking fall. Have already purchased another insurance policy with them for my next trip. Highly Recommended

I first discovered AAMI insurance, when my sister let me borrow her car and someone crashed into me (seriously - thats what happened). Making the claim and getting the car repaired was really easy.... Firstly when I called, I got through to someone straight away....they were kind and sympathetic .... (no robots here).... When I dropped off the car, they gave me two taxi cab charges so that I could get to work and come back to collect my car.... they were very thoughtful and considerate and i really appreciated their assistance.... I've recently purchased public liability insurance for me business.... the women on the phone was really friendly and made the process really easy.... I never thought insurance could be so easy....and I promise you they're not paying me to say this.... I just want to support a BIG company thats actually got good customer service and cares for its customers....

It's a well oiled machine. . You drive straight in, hand over your keys, then sit in the waiting area enjoying complimentary coffee until your taxi arrives to take you to work/home. I've heard some horror stories about some assessment centres taking weeks to choose a repairer, but these guys have quotes ready on the same day you drop the car off. They send you the details of where is will be repaired so you can keep tabs on things, and they give you a 2nd taxi voucher to get to the repairer to pick up your vehicle when it's done. Too easy. Takes a lot of stress out of the whole "my car is screwed" experience, which can be a very unpleasant series of event.

So Albert and Co got to work with another pre approval and I settle tomorrow 19 May. I have had emails and phonecalls from Albert and Myra early mornings and late evenings. They will get the job done for you, and as quick as they can. All i can say is give them everything they ask for first up or it's you, not Albert holding up the process.
