Everyone just kind of hung out and gossip. Lo and behold I found this place literally around the corner from the beauty supply that I frequent on the daily! I pulled up around 9:00 a.m. right after they opened, and the woman running the business couldn't have been nicer. She walked by me as I came in and asked me how I was doing and told me to have fun shopping. We had a conversation about how she'd been in the location for 20 years and that she was looking to open up another location in Casselberry. When I tell you guys the service was above and beyond it was amazing! Not only did she help me select the hair, but she also let me have fun trying on wigs lol. She also helped me pick out any additions that I needed, and guys it was just a great experience. I am only coming to this beauty supply store for all of my hair needs!

My only compliant would be the cost of the virgin relaxer was 85 and then I was charged 15 to cut and style. The cost of the groupon was $39 for the partial sewn in which ended up being 4 rows. I wish the prices were on her website somewhere. For the compliments I have received I was happy. I would have liked a little more of an edgier cut with more layers and precision. I didn't complain because I was in a rush to go to work. I would go back. My hair looks healthy and has held up the last couple of days. I would recommend.

I went to this store on 2/06/12 after work with a friend to search for a possible wig. I, nor my friend normally wear wigs. The woman in the shop never asked if we needed help. She arrived w/a wig cap and ridiculed my friend in broken English for trying on a wig and not knowing what to do. My friend told her we were new at this. We decided to ignore her abrasive remark as we felt it comes w/ the culture. The woman walked away as others were in the store. My friend continued to try on the wigs using the wig cap. Finally, we were done and had put all the wigs except one back in place. I went to give the woman the cap to throw away. She made a face in disgust and uttered what I understood to mean -to use the cap, it costs 50cents. I light-heartedly said "oh, you never told us that" and reached for my purse to pay the money. Before I could get my wallet out, she told us that we were in her store trying on wigs for 30 mins and didnt want to pay for the wig cap and other things that I didn't understand. I told her, I dont have a problem paying , I just didnt know there was a cost and thought it was a courtsey cap. She began saying more things I didnt quite understand -all in the presence of other customers. I took the money out to give to her and she waved me away and said it doesnt matter. I told her it did as I dont have a problem giving her the money . she took the money as my friend came over to give her the money to keep her from "going in to bankruptcy'. The woman continued to go on about it. I advised her that in future, maybe she should just let the customer know it cost 50cents before she gives out the cap instead of assuming the customer knows . She promptly told me "you no like, you go" as she waved her hands to shoo me out the door. Of course I advised her that she won't ever see me in there again and walked out as she continued to say things that I thought was very inappropiate about me that rhymes with 'moe'. The customer that came out behind me stated that others have had issues w/this woman too. I had such a bad experience w/this place that I tried to find it and report on it earlier in the week, but couldnt find the name to report to the BBB as the sign on the building says GINA's but of course the name to report it is SONG ESTRELLA . . .hmmm how misleading I repeat . . .IF YOU DISLIKE DRAMA , BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND BEING TREATED LIKE YOU ARE THE ENEMY . . . Yeah, no excuse I get it, but if you've been to other countries, you sometimes go to places with smiles, and sometimes you go to places with "get your stuff and get out". The lady that worked with me today? She was nice. Even a customer helped me; it was awesome. It is impossible to find really good scarves and bun wraps. At least for me. Being from Detroit, there is an abundance of scarves, hair wraps and ties for Egyptians and African Americans. Here in Florida, not so much. But now I finally found a place. This place has really good silk scarves for your hair, and it's got a lot of great looking wigs too. I have Traction Alopecia, and every scarf I get is trash. Until now. I can't even believe how thick and soft their satin head wraps are. Old school quality. And the bun turban is a quick grab and go when you don't feel like doing a wrap. My baby fine hair can't stay in ponytails like I used to without ripping out of my head in clumps. Give this place another chance people. Niche products are impossible to find. Appreciate the places that take the time to find it, order it, and have it for you. My hair will be saved now SPECIFICALLY because of what I bought at this place.
