I would receive an SMS between the times of 6PM the night before to 1AM on the morning of my first training day with excuses like leaving the club keys with the cleaners; trying to get my son in a sleep pattern; Im at a fight and I am just leaving Wollongong now; and my newborn has an infection so I have to stay home with my daughter. When I was asked if I wanted to book for the fifth time for which would still be my first lesson, I replied saying no, I wanted someone reliable and who actually wanted to train me. I then received a nasty and sarcastic reply. I do NOT recommend anyone to try this club based on my experiences alone. I have no idea why I was treated this way. I really believe this staff member (who is also the club manager) had absolutely no intentions of training me and this was his way of pushing me away. I am left feeling like I have been discriminated against. I have found the coaches there to be very welcoming and personable, and they make you feel very welcome right from the beginning. The instruction is fantastic! Not only is the quality amazing, but the way they teach makes you want to come back day after day. I did not feel my Niece was learning anything as they were just playing games. My Niece is 7 years old. I know kids should have fun, but this class was all about fun and games and had no real merit or value in terms of learning anything. I don't think Judo is good for kids, I noticed also with my friend who does judo that the practicioners get Cauliflower ears also, as there is lots of rubbing around the ears.

His energy is infectious which is great because I have never once finished a class with an ounce left to give. Classes are usually small meaning you get lots of personal attention and also easily make some new friends! I'd highly recommend anyone interested in personal fitness and self defence to check it out!

There was hardly any discipline there. students seemed to just talk and muck around. the head instructor was hardly taking the class. Its got a good location but apart from that, Value for money wise, it was a total waste of time and money. I think because it does have a good location they charge alot more. and because there are lots of students, there is no real discipline there....you dont really learn much there.

The teachers are exceptional, and offer helpful, one-on-one, personal assistance. My yoga instructor was Sari Redzeposki (qualified in Ki Yoga), and she was great. Her method of teaching was informative and calming, and she never made me feel embarrassed when I looked like a complete goof trying to position my body correctly. I always took the Saturday class, and it was quite busy, but not uncomfortable. Perhaps a midweek class would be quieter, if that is what you're looking for. Sinosic Perosh Martial Arts also offer training in MMA, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai Kickboxing and kids Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
