We were about 45 min early, just to go ahead talk, shownher what we wanted etc. We needed my 9 year old daughter's hair rolled and fixed for a pageant 8 min away. While we were patiently waiting, she and the other client were talking (a teen).. we over heard her cursing not 1-2x but just thru out their conversations (my 9 yr old is hearing all this) she was talking about some shows on tv & murder & she just liked that kind of stuff etc .. kept repeating her self, dropping stuff, cursing again.. etc etc.. well 2 hours goes by.. she still had not finished putting the girls hair in foil (no where near close). I had time to do my make up and my daughters make up, I teased and sprayed her hair with hair spray to "prep it" well she still is not done... so we had to get our stuff together and go.. we still had to get my daughter dressed and ready for the pageant... I ended up having to curl my daughters hair with a small curling iron I brought for fly always and had to get her dressed in 45 min.. it was nightmare that could've been prevented if this lady could've just told me,hey I really just don't have the time to do this... all together.. not very Professional... normally I do not even write reviews but Everything was just ridiculous!

She is very thorough when she does your first consultation and asks questions about how you do/ treat your hair. She always keeps the health of your hair top priority. That means she will be honest if she thinks a color may take a few visits to get to. Jessica has been my hair dealer for about 10 years now, never once have I left unhappy. No matter what color or process we do my hair has always been soft and healthy. She also gives great advice on how to keep my waves and curls looking good. She asked st the beginning of the appointment of I wanted a bleached root or shadow and I said Shadow works but that I was hesitant because I didn't want banding or striping. She responded by letting me know that that wouldn't happen. During the appointment she didn't speak to me which wasn't a problem. However, once she was taking the foils out I noticed the massive patches and banding in my hair. I pointed them out and she said they are supposed to be there and will fade over time. At this point I was quite upset and felt uncomfortable to say anything further. After I got home I noticed how horrible it truly was, was patchy and had complete stripes down my head which is unacceptable for an experienced stylist claiming to be a blonde specialist. I messaged the owner and let her know of the situation and that I'd like to ask for a refund. Her solution was to have the stylist who did my hair "fix it". Which I was not comfortable with for multiple reasons, she did not listen to my requests and passed it off when I pointed it out. The owner did not offer for herself to redo it or another stylist. She then offered a 25% refund, which wouldn't cover me having to get the job completely redone. I proceeded to post my experience on a local women's page to let them know not to visit the salon. Shortly after, I received a horrible message from the stylist threatening me and telling me it was my fault for not communicating further (which I did twice at my appointment), and gas lighting me saying "blonding is a process"  which I have been getting platinum blonde for about 10 years and never ever experienced this. There were multiple women from the salon who then made awful comments to people on my post about the experience saying things about women's children, and chastising them for being religious, which is SO UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNACCEPTABLE.  People make mistakes and it's how they correct them that matter, and in this scenario for a service industry- this is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. I wouldn't reccoment this place to anyone.

You ask me why they don't know what you want is because they're not any books in there so they can look at a picture of what you want it to look like. Although they seemed to be likable they really didn't care about you in general. I had my hair dyed and she kept saying it would be a minute to rinse it out after the appropriate time but she was like getting other things ready for an appointment for the next day and 5 minutes turned into 25 minutes or more. I was so upset about my hair that I was about to start crying after I had seen it. Then she tells this other guy who was working with her that she didn't know what to do with the horrible job she did and asked him to try and finish it up while she went out to get the dye done. I'm sorry but I should have said that if you don't have anything to look at all then I will go home. But I didn't want to hurt anyones feelings. But I'm telling you I wish I had never had my hair done by Lush Blow and Dry. They also say they do facials and other things but they don't!!!' The people who used to work there left them but they still say it on this site. No wonder that the other people left them, in my opinion they didn't know what they were doing. This was in the hopes of having my new regular spot for services, but let's just say I don't wanna go back here. This is not my first spa experience, so I was a bit put off by the service through the day. I arrived and there's no clear signage on where to go, eventually someone told me to go check in upstairs, and a girl took me around to ask if I wanted a robe, since it was a full day thing I thought that was assumed. Anyway, after changing I was to put my belongings in a locker, but they were all missing keys, the girl was confused and told me to just put my stuff wherever, which was not a way to begin a relaxing day. Also, nobody I saw working up to that moment was wearing a mask, which just added to my anxiety. The massage therapist was first, and she was great (Sydney), and also wore a mask the whole time, she's the reason I gave 2 stars and not 1, I would see her again at a different location. Meanwhile, the person who did my facial could not bother to wear a mask and didn't even give me any feedback during my service. And the lady who did my pedicure didn't even want to talk to me and decided to chat with the next chair over instead. Oh, and after the massage I noticed they had brought keys for the lockers for new clients who came over but didn't say anything to me, so I took it upon myself to move my stuff to a locker with a key at that point. Management seemed nice and sent me home with a box of chocolates and a candle, but the services were not up to par, and the lack of masking was a complete turn off. So I'm still trying to find a spa in the area.

But I was looking for a place to get my hair done (colored and cut) and they fit me in within a few days. It's bright and cheery inside. The ladies who worked here were having pleasant conversations, which I appreciated. Nicki spent a lot of time with me, coloring my hair and then cutting and styling. It turned out great! It's been about 4-5 months and my hair still looks good. Prices were comparable to other hair salons.
