My daughter got a retwist done by a stylist in the salon. Services were awesome as usual. However, my daughter needed a tape up. Kevin destroyed my daughter's double taper. He pushed/shaved her hairline back. He also dang near bald both sides of her head. When he was shown a picture of what her hair is usually is cut like, he responded "what's the difference". I am so pissed off! Her sister took her to the appt, she's also pissed off! And my daughter is in tears! And for Kevin to act like it's all good, nothings wrong pissed me off even more. read more

This review is specifically for JTFadez. We've come here more times than I can count to see him. We've had experiences with two other barbers that were not as pleasant at Headliners but that's a story for another time. We usually always make an appointment but we've walked in a few times just fine as well. He is always able to make an accommodation for us. He makes polite chit chat with my son and husband when they go. Sometimes the cut takes a while, but that isn't anything to complain about because we are always floored with his precision. He's even given my husband tips about getting a smoother bald shave. Even when my son had the more higher maintenance cut of a high top, he always got all of the edges so trim, tight and proper. We also tried a completely new Mohawk style on my him which he was nervous about, but it came out so awesome and handsome thanks to the skilled hands of JT. We were truly appreciative of JT for helping us find a new haircut that made my son feel so confident and handsome! To say we love the results is an understatement. It's also worth noting that when we felt a haircut could be been changed a little (higher fade, a design), JT is always flexible and helps us make tiny changes. I've extremely particular about my hair. Worst part about moving to another state is finding for the right barber. At Headliners Barbershop- I did find out who is NOT going to be my barber. I won't make a generalized statement about the entire barbershop but I at least know who is not touching my hair. For now, I'll have to continue to search for the right barber. read more

This barbershop is probably the nicest I have ever been in. All of the staff are so friendly and this establishment is very clean with activities and pool table set up inside to use while you wait. Just wanted to leave a review for this shop. Very good cut with reasonable price. I got a nice fade with a razor shave and it looks perfect. I am retired military and I recommend this place for all types of hair cuts especially if you need to stay within regs. I've tried a bunch of barbers since moving out here from California. I had my hair destroyed time and time again (and overpaid for it)! Steve at Headliners has been the only consistent barber we gone to in the area. The shop has a pool table, air hockey table and a foosball table. Prices are great and the staff is awesome. read more

First impression everyone being dressed professional was a plus. I took my grandson to get a haircut and he is not used to an adult barbershop he goes to the kid friendly ones, but anyway he cried during part of the haircut but my main reason for this review was the patience in the barber, from trying to give him a lollipop, to letting him hold the clippers, to letting him hold the mirror so he wouldn't be scared was enough for me to consider taking him back since they are very convenient to where I stay. This place is pretty great! It's basically a Fast Eddies with barbers, good barbers too. For anyone who doesn't know what Fast Eddies is, it's a pool hall that has foosball, darts, and all sorts of games. You're going to want to make an appointment because I've seen people walk in without an appointment and they wait a LONG TIME. You know they're good when their schedule is that full. Every single time I go in there they have something new. One week it's an air hockey table, the next week it's an Xbox, next it's a vending machine. They are constantly upgrading. Steve the barber sells some pretty great beef jerky and he has the best policy, you open a bag and try it right there, if you don't like, you don't buy it, he'll eat it. What a guarantee. I wish all people selling goods and services had this sort of policy. When we go there, they're great at cutting my kids hair and while one is getting done up, the other can play pool or one of the other fifty forms of entertainment there! read more

This is the best place in the CSRA/Augusta area to get a haircut. The gentlemen that work here are always professional in the way they look, perform and communicate. I felt welcomed and valued as a customer since my first time there and I haven't gone anywhere else since. I get a razor fade every week because I'm in the Marine Corps and I will say, it's not easy finding somebody that is GOOD at cutting a fade. I tried other local barbershops that had promising reviews but the service, professionalism and quality of haircut does not begin to compare to Headliners. All the barbers are top notch so you're safe in any seat you pick. This place is terrible. Not only do you not receive a "hello" when you walk in, but my son was in tears while receiving a haircut. He gets haircuts regularly so I thought that was odd, I insisted on telling him it's going to be okay.. the barber didn't care that my son was hurting. I could see red marks all over his head. That has never happened before in the 4 years my son has gotten haircuts. I still gave them the benefit of the doubt & brought my husband in. WORST MISTAKE. Not only is my husbands hair cut UNEVEN, but my husband has cuts & said the machine they used pull on your hair. In fact he said it hurt so bad he was about to be in tears. He doesn't know how my son pulled through it. My husbands hair has super long strands & then super short ones. I would not recommend this place. We went cause it's close by, but with this kind of service I'd rather drive the extra 10 min to a place that knows how to treat their customers & has good equipment as well as good barbers. read more

Phil is bout one of the weakest barbers I have seen and the owner ain't no better. How you have my son sit there until closing time and won't cut his hair because he was late. That's why I told him to wait on his regular barber. But he wanted Phillis to do it. read more
