I came here because my husband said he had went here a decade ago and recommended it. There was a…read morewoman named Jackie sitting outside and literally the first thing out of her mouth was "I don't do black hair" she said it about 5 different times. She didn't even try and clearly didn't want to even come near my kids. Another stylist ended up cutting their hair. She ran in the back and hid for some reason. This whole experience was weird. Its just hair, just cut it. My kids aren't thugs and I wasn't asking for anything overly complicated. I only wanted a bowl cut and a mohawk. Worst service ever. Literally just a crazy woman screaming about how she doesn't do black hair. I would have been better off going to my normal Latino spot that over charged me. Never again. Update still got the haircuts here since I didn't want to make it weird. Jackie is hid away until an older latino man came in here and immediately sat him and started cutting his hair with clippers even though she said she only used scissors. So I can honestly say the problem is 100% her. She even offered his granddaughter candy and was warm and friendly with his. She never even acknowledged my kids. Thank you Tanya and Shelly for treating my children with actual kindness and for the good job you did. But I'm never coming back here. I don't want to be in the room with such wickedness like Jackie. Also my husband called that morning and was quoted 20 for one and under 20 for the ages but I ended up paying $25 each and the forced me to tip $10.

I recently treated myself to a haircut and straight-razor shave at Imperial Barbershop, and let me…read moretell you--it was the highlight of my week. Walking into this spot felt like stepping into a time-honored tradition meets modern vibe. The atmosphere is spotless and welcoming, with that classic barbershop charm: leather chairs, the hum of clippers, and a playlist that hits just right without overwhelming the senses.

Not from here. Went in and really needed to get just a simple line up of my growing out hair and…read morebeard. I told my barber what I wanted and he asked me before I could say it "do you want straight razor or no"? I said, yes all around. The next thing I heard was clippers starting. ‍ I dint say anything and let him continue. I came to a conclusion that he had not much experience with cutting different types of hair based on how he folded down my ears and cut into the flesh rather than cutting a clean half circle around the ear. The shave begain with warm shaving cream and and an almost face burning towel being placed on me then asked "let me know if it's too hot". I let him continue and was shown my face twice and had to correct him as to where my natural beard line was. Moral of the story is: when you are away from your barbershop and go into an unfamilure shop watch and see who can cut the way you are used to and wait for them, don't just fill a seat. I paid $53 including my tradtional "never go back tip" of 20% because he seemed to need it. Believe it or not the guy told me "I wish we would stay open all the time I gotta get my money". I suggest find the guy with a straight razor on his arm or the former Marine.
