My husband and I love getting massages so I make it a point to treat ourselves to one as part of his birthday gift every year. We traveled to Thailand for our honeymoon so our massage standards are set pretty high. Finally found a place that meets that standard in Massage Choice. The facility is very clean and well maintained. I honestly didn't know what to think outside looking in. It's in a rundown shopping plaza next to an Amscot but I booked last minute and decided to just give it a shot. Anna spoke to me over the phone and was able to book us an appointment for the next day. She was so sweet and accommodating especially when I asked if they were able to treat me since I'm in my third trimester of pregnancy. Anna ended up being my therapist and she was amazing! I have to lay on my side and she made sure I was comfortable setting up pillows and asking if I was too cold or if the pressure was too much. It was the most relaxing hour I could ask for- I even caught myself snoozing off and woke up mid-snore LOL. My husband had Sophia as his therapist and he requested a medium pressure, in between a deep tissue and relaxation style. He said she was great at manipulation and even pulled off some familiar techniques he remembered from Thailand. I was so happy he liked it as some places around here apply way too much or too little pressure. So glad we found a new go-to massage place, not too far from where we live and not too expensive either! Small business (support local!!), very polite, a little bit of a language barrier, but we made it work. Eva was exceptional once her and I were able to get on the same page. I did a 90 minute massage, with cupping, and the price was very reasonable. I will definitely make this my go-to place. I found this place and went into it randomly I was skeptical at first if it was a legitimate massage place and to my surprise it was . The office was clean and nicely kept . The staff was super cordial and took me in right away for a one hour massage with cupping . It was my first experience with cupping and it didn't hurt at all. I had some extra hot spots and the lady suggested I check it out may have extra toxins there . I've been feeling twinges in my lungs already and I felt she was on to something. We've gotten massages from Anna and Linda three times now. They're fantastic and the price is extremely reasonable. We always do a couple's massage, we tend to skip the Hot rocks but if that's your thing go for it, it's like five bucks more. My wife likes a medium touch and I like them to really get in there and they absolutely do that, I'm sore the next day in the best possible way. The massage was great, the masseuse was nice, why did I deduct a star? This is a small place meaning they only had two ladies working, which is fine, but that meant no receptionist. During my massage any time the front door opened a noise would go off and she would have to excuse herself to go greet who was there. Leaving the door to my room open when doing so.
