I opted for the 90-minute deep tissue massage as I had been working out like crazy and needed some muscle relief. This was one of the best things I could do for myself, it felt like the massages I got when traveling to Vietnam- no fluff just straight to the root cause of the muscle pain. This isn't the type of place you go for a spa-like, relaxing atmosphere like Post Oak or Milk + Honey. Instead, it's where you go for a truly effective deep-pressure massage. The facility was clean, and my masseuse, Jessica, was fantastic. She took the time to ask about the areas I wanted to focus on and applied just the right amount of pressure in those areas. I was amazed at how much pressure she could apply despite her small stature. She also reassured me to not hesitate to let her know if something was uncomfortable which I appreciated. One aspect I particularly appreciated was that the massage included stretches, which contributed to significant relief. It wasn't necessarily a relaxing experience, but it was incredibly therapeutic. Also if you do not like feet or are shy this may not be the place for you. They use their feet to really apply deep pressure + stretch you in all directions like a piece of dough so inevitably you aren't always covered. I will definitely be returning!

I am just sad that this place is not near where I live and that we just went here on vacation. I made a reservation ahead of time for us all via phone and had to put a 50% deposit down to book. Both times I tried calling, they answered right away; no issues with communicating & with questions I had. When we first entered, they had us fill out some forms, which asked us about things like injuries, pregnancy, where we wanted focused areas. I don't believe my masseuse read the form because she asked me before my massage started where I wanted focused areas, but this wasn't a huge issue for me. I was just curious what was the point of asking it on the form if they didn't look at it; maybe they did & she just wanted to confirm, I'm not sure. At the beginning of my massage, she asked me if stretching was OK, what I wanted focused on, and confirmed I didn't want her to step on my back, which I appreciated all of these being asked. She did stretch me with my permission, which was amazing & exactly what I needed. She made sure to also confirm the pressure of her massages were okay with me as well a couple of times during the massage. Some of my friends got warm beds. Unfortunately, mine wasn't and my room was pretty cold. When the blanket was moved from my body, I was pretty cold. This is probably my only complaint about the entire experience. I definitely want to come back if I'm in the area again.
