The staff let her rebook without ever telling her the original charge stood and that she'd be paying out of pocket for a second appointment. No warning, no explanation, nothing. When I called to address it, the owner Cindy called my mother a liar. Said my mom never mentioned a doctor's appointment and tried to frame the whole thing as a "mother daughter miscommunication." I was trying to be cordial and understand the situation. Instead she argued with a paying customer, defended her staff without hearing us out, and then had the nerve to text me afterward saying I was talking over her. You do not call your customers liars. You listen, you assess, and you handle it with professionalism. That did not happen here. The masseuse Mandi was great and actually addressed my mother's concerns with care. But Cindy was short and dismissive with my mother in person and then turned around and did the same to me on the phone. My mother has been through a lot. This was supposed to be something special for her. Instead we paid twice for one service and were treated like the problem. Be very careful here, especially if you're gifting to someone elderly who may not know to push back.

I read all the profiles and felt like Chelsea was the person for me. I booked an hour deep tissue for some issues I have been having. You can select from numerous appointment times and dates. When I arrived, I was given a warm neck towel and offered tea and snacks. The waiting area Is very serene and tbere are different products you can purchase. Chelsea came out and we when to the back. She asked about my issues and areas of concern. Chelsea's technique is great. She quickly found the issues I had mentioned and spent a good amount of time focusing on them. I felt very comfortable and when it was done, I could take my time getting myself together. I was given a new client care package and paid when I left. I will absolutely be going back to try all the different services. I think this is somewhere that I can finally get my body feeling right!!

I've been to this spa many times over the years & recently noticed the skin & hair care products. Upon checking in you get a private locker to put your belongings. Then you can go into the bathroom to change into a soft robe with slippers, which were clean & smelled really refreshing. Next, you can sit in the waiting area until your masseuse comes to escort you to the massage room. It was relaxing white noise playing with dim lighting. Megan did a great job on my deep tissue massage. She wasn't too rough & let me chill while asking if I needed anything. I was given a complimentary mimosa afterwards, which I drank in the dry sauna. As a mom of two toddlers, it was the decompression I needed to feel so refreshed for the rest of the week! Definitely recommend as a Valentine's Day gift.

I know pain medication for many is a critical part of their doctor prescribed treatment plan and I don't fault anyone for making the decision to use it. For me though even after my surgery I've always chosen and had success with other mechanisms to manage my pain including stretching, acupuncture, chiropractic, and massage which has always been my go to solution. I've literally had hundreds of massages over the years of almost every variety...except for Ashiatsu. I found Acadian Massage while on a recent visit to Baton Rouge from Austin, Texas and after describing to Mandy the combination of physical conditions I was dealing with she explained and then recommended Ashiatsu (a barefoot massage technique). It was without question the most amazing massage I've ever had!!! Beyond being one of the nicest people you'll ever meet Mandy is an extremely talented therapist that I would highly recommend. I always look forward to visiting Baton Rouge for LSU football and great food, but every single visit I make from now on will also include an appointment with Mandy at Acadian Massage.
