I was hopeful that this would help me. She also ordered labs to be done. I got them done and had abnormal lab results indicating I had a UTI. She never contacted me again about my labs and I ended up having to reach out to my general health care physician for help! This is unacceptable for a healthcare provider to take so long to review labs results let alone never call! I believe this is malpractice, especially when I spent lots of money for this appointment, lab tests, and supplements.

Recently a new patient appointment was made at Biowellness Center in Baton Rouge. It was unusual…read morethat the appointment clerk asked for the $100 charge to be paid in advance, but nevertheless the payment was made. Within an hour from making the appointment, another phone call to Biowellness was made to cancel the appointment and a request was made for a full refund. The request was initially denied and the new patient was told then that they had a no refund policy for cancellations. When the new patient pushed the issue, the appointment clerk stated she would have the office manager call back. The office manager stated that they had expenses, but would not say what they were, but conceded to give a $50 refund. Even when the doctor got on the call, the full refund was not issued. He even stated that when a patient cancels, doctors still bill the insurance companies. I told him they did not because I knew that was insurance fraud. I would never go to this center and want to warn anyone else of their unethical and unprofessional policies.
