It came on suddenly, literally overnight, and just didn't go away. I'll spare the details, but it was severe, and impacted my freedom to do things like going to Disneyland as I could not risk getting an untimely urgent urge. I underwent a number of medical tests which were inconclusive, took antibiotics, phsyllium, probiotics, and more. All to no avail. Digestive enzymes, 2 with each meal, helped somewhat. After 11 months, I began looking into naturopaths and Ms. Pamela Hird Klein came up in the search. Although a homeopathic practioner vs. naturopath, I was drawn to her. I read nearly everything on her website before calling. We scheduled a session for a Monday and met for about 2 hours. She was a very pleasant, and attentive listener, and guided the conversation with specific questions. On Tuesday she let me know she had a remedy, and I arranged to pick it up Thursday. The miracle started the very day I met with her. That night, I had an uninterrupted night's sleep, the first in many many days. I quickly and steadily improved. By the time I saw her on Thursday, I had already begun having more normal bowel movements. Upon hearing of my improvement, Pamela advised me to hold off taking the remedy and to contact her in a week. Fast forward to now - It has been 2 months and I have enjoyed a full return to a normal digestion and elimination routine. I changed absolutely nothing in my diet. No diarrhea, nor the other unpleasant symptoms, whatsoever. And I never actually ingested the remedy!! I had told her all the same details I'd given my traditional MD. Nothing stands out in my mind of being an "Aha" moment during our meeting that might have revealed some deep seated root cause. I cannot explain this miraculous and inexplicable healing. IVs were the last thing on my mind and they were in no rush for me to use the credits as I did not receive any type of reminder call from them. I called a week and a half ago letting them know that I'll be in town and would like a refund for the credit that I have. A receptionist confirmed that I did, indeed, have a credit and that it was for an IV package. She talked to the manager and told me that, not only can they not provide me a refund, but I can come in to redeem the credit for only one IV session since their prices went up. I was upset by this because it's not like I was asking for a refund for a service I was unhappy with, but for a credit that I clearly cannot use since my move. I explained to her that I had paid cash for the promotion that didn't come with any stipulations. I didn't sign anything and the person who sold it to me didn't tell me about any rules that came along with the promotion. The receptionist danced around the best she could, explaining to me that "most people usually use the service within a year" and offered me a vitamin B shot instead, which is worth less than an IV session...I declined and asked to speak to the manager, but, of course, she told me that they were unavailable. I asked that the manager please call me back later that day to discuss this matter further and left my number. I still, to this day, have not heard back from anyone. To me, this is pretty piss poor service and unprofessional. They basically are ignoring me so that they don't have to pay me the $380 back. It's not like it's $20. This is a big chunk of money that they've held on to and collected interest on. Debating whether or not a small claims court is worth it, but definitely spreading the word so that customers don't get bamboozled like I did.

So I was hesitant to try this therapy out. I have a very old knee injury to my left knee. It has been twice the size of my right knee for 24 years. My sports injury doctor really was at a loss, so he sent me to see Melanie and told me she was fabulous. I trust this man, so I called and made an appointment. I came for my first appointment and Melanie made me feel very comfortable and at ease with everything. She explained what she was going to do and doing every step of the way. I stared at the ceiling because I didn't want to watch the needles going in. I didn't even feel the first couple and barely felt the 3rd, after that it was very easy.
